love the bottom portraits at 6:34. stellar!✨
Thank you! 😁
@@ribsy of course!!
The picture of the kid pointing is soooo good. Since you first posted it on insta I keep randomly thinking of it, and it makes me smile every time.
i really appreciate that! thank you
Keep doing what you do. Your progression is amazing and inspiring. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
I appreciate you! Thanks for the kind words and motivation
Love your work, you keep it real, your portraits are both candid and distinguished
i really appreciate that!
Love seeing what you are doing and using the macro filters to me is a bonus on how to see it utilized. I'm not much of a fan of Hasselblad's but everyone has his own style of tools, which make the art far more interesting. Thank you for doing the things you do..
For sure! A tool for everyone! Thanks 😊
Sounds like you’ve got a lot going on. That’s awesome, man! Love what you can do with those macro adapters.
Yea! Staying as busy as I can!
Amazing work! Got inspired to develop at home in my kitchen and bathroom by watching your videos. Just recently started setting up my darkroom as well but you helped me realize you don’t need a crazy setup to get some results. Thanks Ribsy 🤘🏻
Dope! Good luck
An old Hasselblad playing up? I'm shocked. 😂 The kid caught my eye too,, nice shot. Great video 2x👍
Haha yup. It works very well except for when it doesn’t 😂
@@ribsy 👍👍
The retro chrome worked perfectly for the feel and look! Those happy mistakes! 👍🏾
yea i think it was alright!
I still haven't worked up the courage to do street photography.
Ahh you gotta!
That rose portrait was so crisp. Amazing detail and use of the lens. Id love to get a shot like that. Gotta figure out a way to do it on my bronica.
The CZ close up filters seem to have a bayonet fitting so probably only fit their own lenses, but you could easily find some with a normal thread for your Bronica lenses.
Yea! I love the rose image
Keep it up man! Great work, love seeing you progress and your process… more interesting than any gear review 👍🏼💪🏼
Thank you! This means a lot 😃
Having fun and experimenting! When I did color printing I used a JOBO processor and I fought with color shifting from temps changing from test strips to full sheet. Had to pre-rinse to heat the sheets up. Your street shots are great! Very candid and natural looking!
thanks!!
Nice! :)
😁
Loved the photos! Quick question, why did you stop doing the darkroom work at home? Your videos of DIYing color printing at home were very inspirational to me
Exactly, @Ribsy, where is your jobo drum!
hi - i moved back to NYC and don't have room for it anymore unfortunately. so now i pay to use a professional darkroom
i still have the jobo drum!
With macro filter do you mean Proxar filter? I have a 0.5, with a 150mm it's pretty useful, one good thing about this filter is that you don't loose stops of light like with extension tubes.
Edit: I saw that you mentioned at the end, so it's the same I have :)
Yup! 😃
I'm pretty sure you can get a 220 back for your Hasselblad, but as for film, that might be more difficult.
Yea def - that’s why I haven’t gotten it tho
How often do people you approach decline a photo? As a street photographer, I’m sure you are very accustomed to letting that roll off and move on quickly. Can you do a basic video about how to get into street photography and how to approach potential subjects?
yea im working on something! stay tuned
i do get rejected but thats like 15% of the time
please teach me how to darkroom print
Haha I got some videos for you
0:55 Dave East
yup thats him
@@ribsy Excellent. Was it a chance encounter or will we see some work with him?
