I own a tree removal business...we spent $88,000 in fuel last year...I can look forward to around $120,000 by the end of this year...all when I have to hear customers say 'Wow, I didn't expect the estimate would be so much' even tho we really haven't put our prices up bc we know people have less money to spend on tree trimming and removal...they will just wait it out and have the work done when things get back to normal. Well, when things get 'back to normal' I might be out of business. My out-of-touch accountant tells me, nonchalantly, 'just put your prices up to cover the increase in costs' which, as I said, doesn't work with a business which ppl can put off for a year. I really, really, REALLY hate Jotato Biden and the absolute disaster he is bringing to small business.

Good luck getting an end table from ikea. Some models are OOS for 9 months estimate. Amazon has cut hiring by miles, and the warehouses dont have anything on the convveyer belts.

My wife and I were spending $70 to $80 a week for both of us to go to work and back for a week.
Now it's about $130 to $140 each week
I am a veteran and disabled. I went to see if I could get some kind of extra help. I was told, " Sorry there is nothing we can do right now." I told them I was sorry too because I was born in the US which means I am screwed. But boy are they quick to help the outsider. Thanks for nothing Biden.
Look into social service, call 211 for help 24/7, find weatherization, & churches 4 extra food.

I hauled eggs to Florida, reloaded with corn in Georgia, not an economist, but I totally understand why groceries are getting out of control. I'm in the trucking industry. Last week marked the last of my friends who owned their own trucks being business men. I no longer personally know anyone who owns a semi truck today. Fuel prices have shut them all down. This is how groceries get to your store and if this keeps up the only trucks rolling will be charging double or triple the going rate. You want it hauled? I have 6 shippers begging me to get my truck here today... im hauling the best paying load, how much are you paying again?

Epoch Times published a story this morning explaining that farm prices will probably double by fall. Diesel, fertilizers, wages and equipment costs will be coming into our stores just in time for winter. Regular gasoline at my Goodyear Arizona local station is $5.09 a gallon if your paying cash. Otherwise its $5.19. Went to 3 local grocery stores on the way back from the doctor this am, trying to get everything in one trip to save on fuel costs. On sale basics only at the stores. Thanking God my family members taught us how to cook, can, sew, garden and a dozen and one other useful skills to be thrifty. God willing the nation will hold together until November 2022.
