My impressions of KJ mirrors yours. But now I’d like to focus away from who starts, etc. The focus I’d like to see is team camaraderie. Starters are less important than how they work together; support each other; bond. This because this particular team has a characteristic that is unique to very successful teams - that they are overloaded with players deserving to start. So, set it aside. I hope we see multiple starting lineups; multiple units finishing games; starting second halves; sometimes full units replacing the five already on the floor to give them a rest; combinations of twosome’s, threesomes interjected into the games with high fiving going on all year. Let’s win a Big Ten title outright this year and I believe we can!
I think both Ty and DGL are going to be greatly improved but I agree KJ is going to be great. I hope we have him for 2 years.

I really like KJ even though we don’t really know anything about him, his play-style, and character. It’s just something about his resume and how bought in it already feels like he is I could totally see him being our guy
Agreed Avery. There was something different about him when I started watching him a month and a half ago. I just wasn’t sure how it was going to translate once he got stateside.
Now that we’re getting some more glimpses, I am letting you all know I think he could be special!

There seems to be no reason why Kylan Boswell should be running point guard over kasparas
I’m not sure I’d go that far. I still like that Kylan is going to bring two years of college basketball experience, playing at a high level. But yes I agree in the sense it looks like KJ may be taking the importance of Kylan’s skill set away a bit.
So is he a better get than Egor Demin?
It’s hard for me to answer that because I haven’t seen anything on Denim since he got here. But from what I saw in Europe I think KJ is a higher floor college player. Egor has some tantalizing size however which is going to make the NBA very interested.
