Louis puts together a little quiz to test Mike.
Season 01, Episode 04, Dirty Little Secrets,
Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Jessica's (Gina Torres) relationship is tested when Harvey defends someone from her past. Will Jessica allow Harvey to handle the case as he sees fit when she has an emotional stake in the outcome? Louis (Rick Hoffman) assigns Mike (Patrick J. Adams) his first solo case: a pro bono that has him itching for a win, but Mike quickly finds the odds are stacked against him.

Show Synopsis: "Suits" delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, “Love & Other Drugs”) makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

Rachel help him with all the research, as well as doing her own work, then he couldn't fill out the patent forms, Gregory the associate did it. @@harshagrawal1056 Not really. Could have easily written a much longer conclusion to Louis finding out. He could have just pressured his name onto the wall and then worked really well with Mike. Or basically any other scenario. There really wasn't much realism to any of the plot.
Look at how long they dragged out that Harvey and Donna storyline and what it ended up as. They could have easily filled tons of seasons with Mike being found out by Louis without a need to end the show.
