- Charlotte is an 18-year-old from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - she doesn't shave her legs.
In our society, women's body hair is taboo. For the most part, we pretend it doesn't exist: we live in a world where women in commercials shave already hairless legs. Charlotte talks about rejecting this conventional beauty ideal, sharing the reason behind her choice, the challenges she faces, and advice for anyone thinking about not shaving.
I find hairy women very beautiful and attractive 😍- and it's also a sign of maturity.
I look forward to the day when all women stop the pointless shaving ❣
Good for you! Stay strong-it's normal, natural + an attractive part of what a woman really looks like. Intelligent movie.
My mom's side is of the family is quite conservative and they don't like that my girlfriend doesn't shave her legs, or any of her body hair. I can associate with that part of her story. This is a brave young woman here.
i stopped shaving a few years ago
it was causing me skin problems, my legs were always itchy and the skin was rough
i tried waxing and those devices that pluck hair but the results were the same
when i stopped, i was judged by my family, my grandmother, sister and mother said it was disgusting and unhygienic and even though i knew what they said wasn't true, it still stung
there was this ingrained idea that i needed to be appealing and the only way to do that was to remove my hair
i started thinking "i don't wanna live my life to be eye candy for others, what type of sad and shallow existence would that be?"
people make it look like if you don't remove your body hair, get your nails done or dress a certain way, you are no longer "a real woman"
i wish there was less judgment and people just respected and appreciated each other more
(ps: my mom has recently been way more accepting and doesn't make rude comments anymore, she said she kinda understands my point of view)
Thanks for doing this video. Speaking from experience, it really is so liberating!
Yesss, I completely agree!

Let it grow, girl. Wish there were more that thought like her.
Nice shots and angles there, Taryn!
Thank you lovely Cosmin
I'm actually encouraging my gf not to shave pubic hair bc of the ingrows she gets. Also, I just like hairyness. :)
Just tell her you like it hairy. Trust me, I'd much rather a man said "I prefer your cnut hairy" rather than "oh don't worry about it because you get ingrowns". Telling me you like it means I feel attrarctive hairy, telling me not to owrry because of ingrowns makes me think you're putting up with it because you feel for me. I'd rather my boyfriend found me sexy.
Wow that’s great all natural everywhere , wish to find a girl like that,
Yesss I love the natural look! 💗 I’m happy my boyfriend supports me
I hate shaving because it hurts, itches, and looks gross! The older I get, the more I like being hairy as long as it doesn’t mean serious hirsutism!
Awesome! Thank you so much! I really hope I can feel as comfortable in my own skin (and hair) as you do. You are such an inspiration!
I shave nowhere too :D
I’m a conservative woman. I’m like a big van full of kids and sabbath and homeschool type. I think the shaving expectation is abhorrent and anti-conservative. Conservatives should always be against societal expectations of shaving.
If religious because God made the hair, and encouraging women to look like girls is perverted. Also, if God is real, then men should not care what women’s legs look like when they are not married to the woman.
If non-religious conservative, they should care about logic and freedom. Logically, shaving is unhygienic. Having the stereotype encourages un conservative behaviors. Conservatives should encourage the freedom for women to live in their natural bodies. A female is a woman, so why put unnatural expectations on women and then complain that women should be something other than nature intended?
I don’t shave. It’s awful for one’s skin health.
This. Even science is against shaving and finds body hair beneficial. Body hair protects from bacteria, dust, irritation and by that, infections. People are brainwashed by media nowadays and they turn on when they see women looking like prepubescent girls.
If religion and science are against it, we should too.
yes it truth good for u be stay strong happy always n enjoy what u like
Enhorabuena por esa decisión, estás muy atractiva!

Shaved pits and groin area is gross and disgusting. Keep it natural. Let it grow and grow.
Men who like it scare me. Why would you want me to look like a child?
