The Omega J8006 is an exceptionally good juicer. The Omega J8006 is efficient, quiet and a great value for money. My Omega J8006 Review shows you how to assemble the juicer as well as juice fruits and vegetables. The Omega J8006 functions not only as a juicer but also as a pasta maker and frozen dessert maker.
The Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer is the perfect juicer for leafy greens and wheat grass. - Jak na to + styl
@Go Aurika Hi, yes you can make nut milk in the Omega J8006. For example, make almond milk by soaking almonds in water overnight. Process some almonds with water. You can process the pulp two or three times if you wish. Good Luck :-)
bestkitchenreviews i make nut milk just by shaking my noodle.🖒
everyone laughed, you are a comedic genius!!!!
I like this juicer. It's easy to clean and I don't chop my veggies as small as the video. Good video overall.
Great video and information .. I’ve always liked your reviews
Thanks so much 😁
thank you! very helpful! I am new to juicing and have no clue which product to buy. this seems perfect...I want to save in fridge about 3 days and use as supplemental meals and to go on juice fasts. thanks!
Regina P Hi Regina, you're welcome! Glad you found the video helpful, good luck with juicing :-)
Love this machine! Just got it today because of your review. I was able to make a gallon of green juice and my family immediately finished it all!
Awesome! 😀👍
Bluesocks 11 how easy it is to clean ?
Lucivania Pereira It’s a bit time consuming which is why I make large amounts and consume that with in 3 days. The machine comes with a brush and you have to scrub the filter until the fiber comes off, but the filter is fragile so breaking that piece will be annoying. I’ve heard about people waiting weeks for a new one because it’s hard to get. The other parts are easy to clean.
Thanks for the video! I just bought this juicer and was trying to figure out how to put it together. Thank you so much can't wait to try try it.
Glad you found the review helpful. Please subscribe :-)
Really helped me make up my mind to take the plunge
Glad to hear it, Kurt :)
great review. I'm looking for a demo on the mincing and chopping function. My Omega seems to have arrived with a slightly bigger blank --- so it doesnt fit inside the drum. The Juicing screen fits fine. Also none of the pasta/chopping nozzles fit. I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong, rather than having to deal with the company for sending the wrong parts.
If you know of a video for chopping function... please share. Thanks.
Thank you! very helpful :)
Thank u so much for ur reply. It will help me.
+Latha Pillai You're welcome, Latha :)
Thanks for the review, I'm new to juicing and heard good things about the model.
You're welcome. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Best juicer I ever had for years without any issues...I recommend
Hi Jennifer, just curious as I’m looking to get one too.. how long have you had it for?
@@nh8559 between 6-7 years. No issue at all. It's just perfect. Bit expensive but worth each penny...goodluck with urs..😊
Outside of the prep time, how long did it take to actually juice?
Awesome review, thanks! Is the auger easy to clean? Is the auger easy to put in? You make it look so easy. Any other color options? Thanks again for a great review!
Paul Davis Hi Paul, you're welcome - glad you liked the review. As you saw, the auger just pushes in very quickly. It is easy to clean as everything rinses right off the auger. It comes in the chrome shown in the video, there are no color options. Please subscribe :-)
Paul Davis but any juiceing takes time :)
I had the same concerns. How long to clean? looks easier than my centrifugal juicer. How long to prep produce? Chute looks "way" too small. Now I need a machine to cut the produce smaller. Any time saved cleaning is doubled to prep the fruit/veggies. I'm still working for a living, and all minutes are precious.
How much did those ingredients cost to make that juice and did it really make that much
love this juicer !
Me too. Great juicer .
Will try!
Hi, Thank you for the thorough review. Do you know if there is a similar product on the market for industrial volume? I'm looking into purchasing something for a restaurant, but I fear that this product couldn't handle the sheer volume of drink orders that we would receive. Can you recommend a good industrial juicer?
Glad you liked the review. I can't give you a specific juicer for industrial volume but here is a link to a few of the well reviewed commercial juicers amzn.to/1pSQJYV. Some of the Omega Juicers are used in restaurants. The Nutrifaster - amzn.to/1kRznZs seems to appear on many "best of" lists for commercial juicing and it costs much more than any omega. Let us know which juicer works out for you. Hope this helped. Please subscribe :)
So, it was 20 minutes of juicing for one glass of 16oz. Or did you include the cleaning and cutting of your food?
Could you review the fusion juicer?
which end cap do you use and why..i see your using the smaller one..the book says that one is for good processing and the bigger one is for juicing..
Does it overheat? How long can you run it at one time?
nice review, looking to buy soon, time to get rid of the juiceman 2
Jay Taylor Hi Jay, thanks - glad you enjoyed the review. Please subscribe :)

I’m thinking about buying one to juice my organic kitchen waste (old meat, fruits, vegetables) to juice and pulp. The juice goes into my countertop distiller to separate the distillate from clean water. The distillate and the pulp goes into my worm bin. The smaller and drier I make it the better. I mist water to add the proper moisture separately.
The pulp and distillate can go to the compost pile.
omega 8006 vs oskar neo 1000-best juser?
How do you know how to do it
thank you!
+Steve g 😀
Thanks!!!!!!!!!
😀
is it necessary to core apples? and what about seeds? like in limes? can you just throw in a half line seeds and all? thanks in advance for any help
It’s best to core apples and avoid juicing any seeds 😁
Hello, Do you advise to buy this machine for a juice bar, any idea about how many liters can it produce per hour? Thanks
Great question. Thought about this many times. Since it takes time to juice using this model, you could juice a good amount of certain vegetable and fruit combos (simple two to three items) and have them ready to go later in the day since the juice hold for 72 hours. Juice some items individually such as kale, beets, carrots, spinach etc. These items don't clog the juicer. Apples and cucumbers produce mushy pulp and can clog the juicer, which is why I juice apples with the items I named first. They help clear the chamber of mush pulp and juice. Hopefully this helps some.
How many glasses of juice did that make?
I just brought one of these juicers and love it. Although the breville juicer is quicker and you dont have to cut the pieces real small, it just doesnt do a good job of extracting the juice. Juicing leafy veggies is a joke. I also like that the juice taste fresher for longer. The only con is that it does take longer to juice. I always stretch my juice by adding aloe vera juice.

Donde lo puedo comprar?
Can it blend frozen fruits like banana into ice cream?
if you are going to juice a lot I would avoid omega juicers due to a problem with the juice screen breaking, every 1-2 years and it cost $15 shipping to get the replacement if still under warranty.
Just fix with screen door. Free
I just purchased the last display model of the Omega 8006 from Bed, Bath & Beyond @ a great discount, BUT it came w/nothing. The only thing I'm missing is the plunger. I'm frugal so I don't want to pay $10 in shipping for a $6 plunger. Silly question, but can I do w/out it/is there an alternative?
Use a long carrot
GET TO THE JUICING!!!!!
Very nice machine
Thanks.
😀👍
I like your demonstrations a lot. This one is a little miss-leading because you have cut your produce MUCH smaller than necessary. I have the same unit and have made gallons and gallons of carrot/apple juice. I never have to cut the carrots unless one happens to be particularly large at the top which is rare. I use one of those push-down apple cutters to section and core the apples. Unless I get particularly large apples, the sections and core all fit in the machine with no problems. The difference is that I use the pusher to push the items down against the auger as the auger takes 'bites' of the food.
hi, I noticed you said that you make gallons and gallons of carrot juice...I just bought this and used it for the 1st time. do you find that you need to use a lot of carrots to get more juice? I felt like I got almost no juice for how many carrots I used 😕
@@juanitahernandez6085 That's what I've been hearing everywhere. How's it possible that the pulp is dry yet there's hardly any juice
Toda la fibra queda en la cáscara
+bestkitchenreviews I'm getting a slow juicer for my b-day which one would you recommend
+isaac singletary Hi Isaac, I would recommend this Omega J8006 as it has a 15 year warranty. The Kuvings whole slow juicer is also a good choice with a 10 year warranty. Hope that helps :) Happy Birthday!
bestkitchenreviews ok thanks
After I roast and peel cacao beans, I grind them in a coffee grinder to pulverize them for use in cooking.....will the Omega j8006 pulverize cacao beans?Thank you
+Sandi Hunt Hi Sandi, the Omega grinds coffee beans. I've never tried cacao beans in the Omega.
+bestkitchenreviews Thank you for the speedy reply! I will try it when the Omega arrives, The order went out today.Your tidy and detailed review was the green light for my decision to order it!
+Sandi Hunt Awesome! So glad that my review helped :)
+Sandi Hunt Also, let us know how the cacao beans ground up :)
+bestkitchenreviews We'll do!
The screwpress design is great. Can I use it to extract coconut milk from grated coconut meat? Hope you can redesign the screwpress to stainless steal 304 for better strength and durabilty.
Hi, I don't think you will get liquid from the meat. You can process chunks of coconut and the unit will break it down. Then you'll have to blend with water and strain liquid to get coconut milk. Hope that helps :)
Wait WHAT?! HOW long does this take? Who has time for that? O_O Holy...
Hi, how about nuts, is it good for making nut milk? Thanks
Hi, yes you can make nut milk in the Omega J8006. For example, make almond milk by soaking almonds in water overnight. Process some almonds with water. You can process the pulp two or three times if you wish. Good Luck :-) Please subscribe!
thanks, thats great :)
Is the form a real problem or is it just a taste and aesthetics thing?
Hi, the foam is not a problem - you can skim if off.
How does it handle beets and other hard veggies?
The Omega does a good job of juicing beets and other hard produce. Cut the product into small pieces for the best result. You can also juice beet greens.
Thanks! I just bought one at BedBath & Beyond with 20% coupon. I returned my centrifuge to Walmart
Me too! J8006 HDC. Just got it put together last night.
How is it working?
Does it grind meat?
At 1:30, did you insert the plunger the wrong way? If not, I've been sticking it in the wrong way
+Roman Alvarado Lopez Hi Roman, I believe you're right, I think I turned it around when I was explaining the parts.
+bestkitchenreviews Oh cool, thanks. Thanks so much for your reviews, they really helped me pick the best juicer for my fam :)
You're welcome! So happy that my reviews were useful :)
does it come with the plastic containers
jose pena Hi Jose, yes it comes with two plastic containers :-)
Would this juicer do frozen fruit?
Yes, run the frozen fruit through and it will result in a frozen yogurt like product. You could run it through twice for a creamier consistency. It's a really healthy alternative to store bought frozen products. Please subscribe :-)
I juiced in the 80s early 90s quick energy
Can you please describe how loud is the juicer?
Masticating juicers like this one are the quietest 😀
@@bestkitchenreviews Thank you for the replay.
How is this juicing carrots ?thanks
videoman1965 Hi, the Omega juices carrots well - you can see how dry the pulp was after juicing. Please subscribe :-)
Awesome
Where can I purchase Omega j8006 jucer
Macy's and Bed, Bath and Beyond for sure.
I bought the 8006 last week and tried juicing kiwi and peaches in it. forget about it, it was terrible. it all went to the pulp bin. it looked like it had been squished
I hearrd omega is better for leafy greens and harder produce like carrots or ginger etc. but doesn't do a great job with soft fruits
I hearrd omega is better for leafy greens and harder produce like carrots or ginger etc. but doesn't do a great job with soft fruits
Yeah sucks for soft fruits unless you are really patient or use carrot/greens to help push them through but for mono-juices you just have to be very patient or it overflows.
Hypercube what do you recommend for single ingredient juices? I’m juicer shopping and mostly just want to do carrots, oranges, and some melons but as single juices first. Maybe if i get more into it i will rotate but what would you recommend?
I love ur Dress !!!
Thanks 😀
Any good on juicing tomatoes for canning. Does it get rid of the seeds.
Can u plz tell me the price of this product in $ or Kuwait Dinar?
+Latha Pillai Hi Latha, here is the link to the Omega: amzn.to/1QepaSb The cost is about 299 - US Dollars.
Hope that helps. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Alternate hard and soft...
Is this the BEST Juicer?
Nama well juicer vitality 5800 is the best ive seen
Doesn't seem very practical unless you are only making one drink or two. What about those of us who make about a gallon a day? This might take awhile, too long in fact. With my Juiceman juicer I make a gallon in about 40 minutes with the cleanup. Very little prep time and this juicer only cost me about 100. I've had it for years. A new basket is needed every year which is about 15$. Always ooking for something better though, just haven't found anything yet.
I had the original juice man juicer, and it lasted 20 years. (It cost $289 in 1987) The motor still ran strong, but they quit making baskets for it . Now have a Jack Lelain juicer, and is only OK. (Thought the larger chute would be better than the Juiceman, but the motor is under-powered) Not fun to clean either. Was very interested in this Omega press, for the cleaning benefit, and the press, but the prep work doesn't look too appealing.
The breville juicer looks good works fast not too good for your greens like kale tho
The juicers you guys are mentioning are indeed faster and cheaper. But unlike those centrifugal, high RPM machines, the Omega J8006 is a single augur slow juicer. It produces a higher yield of juice while causing much less oxidation and degradation of fruits and vegetables. And there's no comparison when juicing leafy greens.
Is this juicer stainless steel or plastic?
Leslie Deluna Hi Leslie, the auger is plastic and the body is stainless steel :-)
Thank you! I was looking for a durable stainless steal juicer and this is perfect!
Leslie Deluna You're welcome. Please subscribe if you haven't already :-)
use a water pik brush to clean the screen
I have one of those that I don't use anymore. that's a good tip!!!
the Omega J8004 same machine white cheaper
Some others say that the J8006 has a 15yr warranty not 10 yr warranty ??
The warranty on Omega's site and box is 15 years. There is a card inside the box that asks you to register for the 10 year warranty, that's probably why I said 10 years in the video. I think the confusion came from this card which may have been included in some boxes and not others. Before you register your specific Omega, you can double check with their customer support :-)
Thanks ! Ordered the J8006 Omega last week from Amazon.I have been Juicing and Blending for about 2 months now.I use the Nutri Bullit To blend and I bought a Hamilton Beach Big Mouth to Juice with. I am hoping the New Omega Im getting soon will yield more and better juice??
John Deaton The juice yield should be higher in the Omega since the pulp is very dry. The Hamilton Beach will do a good job with hard vegetables like carrots but not leafy greens. Overall, you will get the most use and yield out of the Omega.
Yup,I put my Hamilton Beach away after I started using my new J8006 I'm getting at least 1/3 more juice from using the Omega. Super Happy about that and Basically No Foam.I also bought a Nutribullet to blend my fiber up I have used it 2-3 times ady for 3 months with no probs.Wish I would have started this yrs ago.. :)
John Deaton Great to hear how well the Omega is working for you. :)
You really cut them very small.. the opening would allow for bigger pieces, but then you might have to use the plunger and then see how great the cantilever design is... NOT.. A vertical design makes more sense .
I thought the warranty was for 15 years?
Kormac80 Hi, yes the warranty is for 15 years :-)
She never said how much ml of juice came out of those 5 carrots, 2 apples and one bunch of Kale
20 minutes??!! Seems like an insanely long time!! And I don’t think that included cleanup!
mine makes everything come out looking like applesauce im getting pissed
Hi Ash, I'm not sure what foods you are juicing? As you saw in the video, everything I juiced did well and I got juice. Make sure your produce is fresh, cold and firm. Hope that helps :)
its working now hahah thank u so much
+ash mcdoyle Great!
.
Definitely 15 year warranty on this juicer not 10
Why in the world would you cut everything so small? I buy a 5/lb bag of carrots and run them in the shoot. The kale? I stick the whole leaf and stem in, and then plunge them in.. I make juice every 48 hours. If I cut the product up like that..? Ugg.. Just don't have the time, and unit does not require it. My juice comes pouring out super fast..machine will not bog down.
Cutting fruit that small.seems a little inconvenient for me
take to long, better off putting it in a Vitamix than strain using a nut bag
Does that work for you? I have a vitamix but try to juice and it was sooo pulping putting through a strainer. But my mom had bought this omega juicer 10 years ago, so thought I'd give it a try
Do not do business with Omega. If your juicer stops working after two years, as it did in my situation, they do not follow their warranty policies.
This video is somehow erotic.
Do you prefer this juicer of the new Omega NC900HDC?
HAVING TO CUT EVERYTHING SO SMALL IS A DEAL BREAKER.
20 minutes for a glass of juice!!
chava chavez that’s what I thought what a shame
Look at a machine called Pure Juicer much longer than this.
I was wondering if I heard 20 or 2!
looks like a nightmare 2 use
20 minutes for just 1 apple and 5 carrots lol
yeah, I was interested until I heard that part.
I've had this juicer going on 5 years now. It only takes about 2 minutes to juice an apple and 5 carrots. The time spent is in the veggie and fruit cleaning, cutting and of course the clean up. I can assemble the unit in less than 20 seconds; take it apart in less time than that. It takes about 5-7 solid minutes to clean the parts. Last night I juiced 2 bunches of kale, a cucumber, 5 celery stalks, 4 medium sized carrots, 4 apples, a lemon and a ginger nugget the size of a golf ball in about 30 minutes and it yield about 50 oz of juice. Of course you have to stop juicing when the container is full. I pour the juice in individual bottles and put them in the freezer until I'm done juicing everything. Then I pour all of the bottles into something big enough to mix all of the juice evenly, then pour back into the individual bottles. It's actually fun to take total control of your health and good for the kids in the house to see.
Stored properly in the refrigerator, the juice from the Omega 8006 is good for up to 72 hours.
All aple west no juce 😂😂😂😂
wow there's a ton of sexual innudeno's in this video...
there is? PLEASE tell me them
Does it grind meat?
