  • This is a video of my daily celery juice routine. I juice daily as soon as I can after I wake up to drink the juice on an empty stomach. I wait at least thirty minutes before eating anything. Has helped tremendously with clearing my skin. Juicing alkaline fruits and vegetables was also recommended for its anticancer properties

    I love the crunch this machine makes when it takes in the celery.

    Whenever I juice celery in my horizontal slow juicer, which is very similar to your 8006, just let the celery finish juicing completely, then place all of the celery pulp in a separate bowl and then run all of the celery pulp several times thru the juicer. This way you can monitor how many times all of the pulp is passed thru the juicer. I find that running all of the celery pulp thru the juicer several times then produces about 20% more celery juice. The total yield I get from one and a quarter pounds of washed celery will then consistently give me a total yield of 16 ounces of celery juice by volume. When I use conventional celery I always wash it carefully using organic Castile soapy water, rinse it a lot, or I will sometimes use an ozone veggie wash machine to help remove pesticides. Thanks for the informative video.

    I never thought about putting the pulp back in. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

      you are welcome. I get so much more juice this way but sometimes it does add pulp so I use a strainer sometimes to catch the last bit of juice from the pulp

    Super helpful, very thorough, brief but detailed. I learned about the juicer (which I'm about to purchase) as well as making celery juice

    Thanks for video. I like that idea of putting the pulp back in. I like to see what else you juice or use the other tools with the juicer for.

    Great workhorse juicer. It has a 15 year warranty.

    You should put the jar in front to catch the juice to measure more easily. It looks like it would fit underneath, but I could be wrong. 1 less thing to clean, too. You probably do this already, but I tend to not think of the easy stuff that's probably obvious to most people. :)

    I’m looking for a new juicer but don’t want to spend the money on the more expensive models like the green star. How happy are you with your juicer? Any issues?

    • @tami_time
      @tami_time  Před 3 lety +1

      It’s a great juicer. Super easy to use and quick to clean. After 7 years I noticed a little more pulp in my juice but I just called omega and sent pictures and they r sending me a new auger and plastic drum. 15 years warranty is a great deal. I also just bought a nama juicer but had some issues and waiting for replacement parts.

      @@tami_time thank you for your reply! I am so happy to hear this! After a lot of research I decided to go with this exact model from omega. You really can’t beat that 15 year warranty either. By your response it sounds like I made the right choice! Thank you!
