Today, we’re going to talk about the warning signs of a fatty liver and what to do for a fatty liver.
There really is no “first sign” of a fatty liver. When you first start developing a fatty liver, there are no symptoms at all.
It’s important to be aware of this because many people have a fatty liver and don’t even know it. People will start to notice signs once the condition has progressed.
    Signs of a fatty liver:
    ‱ A protruding mid-section
    ‱ Insulin resistance
Fifty-nine percent of the fat in your liver originates from outside your liver-it’s fat from other places in your body that end up in the liver.
Twenty-six percent of fat in the liver comes from the liver itself. The liver makes fat from glucose, and insulin is supposed to stop this process.
But, because of dysfunctional fat and insulin resistance, the liver is making sugar uncontrollably. The third source of fat in the liver is dietary fat from consuming sugar.
I believe the top cause of a fatty liver is a high-carb diet. The good news is that the liver is the only organ that can completely regenerate. However, there is a point of no return, so it’s time to act now.
Natural things to do for a fatty liver:
    1. Get on the Healthy KetoÂź diet and do intermittent fasting
    2. Exercise regularly
    3. Consume one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in your water a few times a day

In 1990 I was 22 years of age and my doctor told me that I had a fatty liver. It was not explained any further and I didn't understand what was being said to me...and the doctor offered no advice at all.
Over the next few decades, I was told the same thing...once again, I didn't understand what it meant.
In 2020, I was told that I had a NAFL, but this time I had the internet. That's when I discovered Dr Berg and I spent the lockdown months watching hundreds of his videos.
Since June 2020 I've followed a Ketogenic lifestyle with intermittent fasting and having lost 103 pounds in the first ten months, I reversed prediabetes and got my joints back. So I'm extremely thankful to Dr Berg and this invaluable information.
I urge anybody arriving on this channel for the first time to research this information and make their own minds up.

I've never gone beyond 82 kg (~175 lbs) - without much exercise and just eating what I want - and after some fasting (halving meals) I was back down to 72 kg (Normal weight for someone my size). This was 15 years ago, and nothing has changed since. I am 51 now. Also, I hardly ever get sick, the worst I've had is a flu once that kept me from doing normal work for a week, but I was never seriously ill. And a viral ear infection once, but that was a local infection and it had me puking my guts out for three days.

went thru the dietary classes for diabetics at the local medical center and the community definitely encouraged just slightly reduced carb ‘mediterranean diet’ and no fasting whatsoever. Only by limiting carbs to 20g per day and increasing omega 3 fats was I able to discontinue meds within 6 months. Actually there is according to other sources. The illness of the liver is fatigue. At least this is, what i found out after struggling so many years with symptoms. At some point I got very tired suddenly even after normal meals, without any dessert but rich of carbohydrates. Then i knew something is not right. My doctor made a scan und diagnosed a too big grown liver and advised me to do a diet.

My mother died from having no treatment at all. No thanks to her doctor that was supposed to inform us about it. Doctors are inefficient. This is why I always tune into your channel. You tell us what to do about it when doctors fail us. The medical system in the U.S. is a failure. ..Thanks to you we can more clearly understand what is going on and what to do about it. My doctors haven’t diagnosed me, but I started taking turmeric because I heard it was good for you. I had no idea I had fatty liver. I’m sure I do because I used to eat a ton of carbs not only that when I work for fast food restaurant I used to drink a ton of sodas, so I’m glad I found your channel which I think it was you who mentioned to take milk thistle so I added that to my supplements and I’m pretty sure you also said to up your omega-3’s, so I’ve been taking fish oil and flaxseed oil. But I’d like to thank you, so I watch the commercials.

Love from India. I have reduced my weight from 92kg to 71kg ( fluctuating between 69 to 72)
This wouldn't be possible without Dr Bergs videos .
Thank you so much and loads of love.

I was diagnosed with fatty liver a few months before beginning IF. I have lost 60 lbs since then thanks to fasting and to your channel of course-I do mostly low carb and exercise almost daily. I need to go back and check if my liver has improved. Very excited to see!!!

I'm slim and been diagnosed with gallbladder-sludge...[possibly due to a fatty liver, which my doctor failed to mention]....

      Maybe a RMI scan?

@@MrBlindMode I was thinking that as well...an MRI scan, especially if things got worse...or returned. I'm on a daily detox drink at the moment...and 2 meals max per day...one early, one late...and throw my little exercise routines in. The mad thing is, I shouldn't really be having gallbladder or liver issues as I'm in shape....
