I've been playing and following Irelia users for years. No one comes close to the precision and speed of his. It's the pinacle of mechanical capabilities to be honest. He definitely deserves the "best irelia world" nickname

Venour,irelking is "mechanicaly" better kinda because he is faster than venour but not by much its quite neglectable,but game knowledge wise venour is superior,and game knowledge works well on irelia

Something I think it's important to play irelia: you can auto every time you use your Q if you are in range. And also, you can Q during your R and you won't lose the Q cd (like Diane Q-E)
Actually you can auto while you dance trough minions with q, but the q doesn't reset your autos, that's different
that explains the triple Q I use to see and couldnt understand how to :p

My god have I never seen a player with better mechanics IN GENERAL, not just Irelia who wasn't an actual pro player. His mechanics are unbelievably good, even for KR challenger standards.

edit: also, while i think that spamming q does distract your opponents quite a bit, casting e during q also completely hides the e animation, so you literately dont see it coming

Fiora too. Just play Fiora with grasp and only go for small trades, especially with sheen. Irelia wants long trades. So basically you harass her by just doing Q's with grasp and sheen and then you back off. If she tries to E you can parry it. If you don't have parry up play safer. when it's up again, repeat over and over.
I know she heals with vamp scepter on minions but that means she pushes, so you can farm under turret and she's free for a gank of your jungler.
Also Fiora outscales her so no need to be aggressive, if you don't have a window to get a kill it's fine.
@@arminarlelt7471 not always at the highest level where irelking plays, it's like a dance between irelia q and fiora q, whoever does the dance better wins.
I think a hard part of playing Irelia is memorizing when Q oneshots the backline minions. It depends on items, number of stacks and minute of the game. Sometimes it's hard to keep track and not getting a reset on a minion means losing a fight.

It’s actually pretty easy and before tht u cud use W to prep backline minions. Here r some general guidelines:
lvl 4- hold W down for its entire duration
lvl 5 - hold W down for half its duration
lvl 7 - a tap on W is enough especially if u got some good damage items
lvl 9 - u cud oneshot backline minions with Q especially if you got BORK
Just remember tht if ur not horribly behind, you cud always one shot Q backline minions after you complete BORK

Tank tower hits with w, dont let go of w before a tower shot hits when diving, irelking does that extremely well, he knows his damage when diving and his w will always negate tower shots
Amazing content as always. You should try doing this on your stream sometimes, just pointing out all the little mechanical details from replays that you can see. I'd love to see how you break them down when seeing them for the first time.

@@fubuki7439 Unlike his highlights on CZcams I would say he does talk more on stream. After games he tries to communicate with chat in English. He takes out a notepad and tries to write in English and chat helps him fix his errors. During games he sometimes tries to answer too. Really wholesome

Can you compare him to the Chinese Irelia player GuiBao? Guibao plays mostly toplane irelia and he's alot more steady when playing. He usually doesn't go crazy for montage plays like irelking but he has a good irelia too.

4:12 i think this is wrong. He did follow up the R with a Q before placing his second E. So it should have been: E-R-Q-E-Auto-Q-Auto-Q. So actually just E and Q swaped around. Same at 4:30. It would make no sense to just waste the Q-Reset from the R.

If equal in skill, Fiora should easily beat irelia tho
One thing about irelia is you will lose to your opponent if they really know how to play with their champ/counter you AND if you fuck up your combos. They say that irelia missing q isn't punishable but in higher elos you're most likely to die
