- Having completed the Carb rebuild and the cam chain tensioner swap, the carb will now be reinstalled onto the engine completing the major service on this bike. Items from the carb service kit were used in the re-installation of this carb.

Have a question, brother. I've watched the first two videos. Excellent! Now the reinstall video has you reinstalling the gas tank. 😳 Is this from the earlier portion where it needed to be removed because of the tensioner replacement and you did the carb rebuild as part of that as well? Just wanting to make sure before I bite off more than I can chew. 😂
Would of been that much better if you had started the bike. But thanks bro, Im gonna use your video to install my friends new carb on his 05' Nightrain.
It was started, that video is part of a small series.
thankyou !! You really put a lot of relief on my stress levels for buying this 100aniv. softail I'm buying tomorrow. Cant wait to talk to the dealer mech about the service they're doing to it before I pick it up.
Glad I could help!
I find this video fun, informative
Glad to hear it.

Thanks for the information, it was a big help. Any information on where you got the rebuilt kit?
Thank you so much!!!!!!!
You're welcome!
Thanks man
You're welcome!
You should never use old washers, especially damaged ones for mounting breather bolts. Because oil will leaks.
For mounting breather bolts, not Loctite ??
On the topside backside of the carb there's a vacuum line where does that vacuum line go???
Hey man when you adjust the air screw on bottom of carb are you backing it out 1.3/4 turns is that enough air on my 02 dyna with 88cid.i have mine set at 2.3/4 turns I'm just curious my carb could be half stopped up it has that lean cough sometimes at least that's what I was told
No, and there's an important distinction. its the correct mixture for this bike. Carb settings from someones else's bike have no practical use except to get the engine started long enough to set up the carb.
