This worked, but i can only run free mcboot from slot 2, which is where i installed it to. I used an official Sony card too, any ideas?

    I tried installing FMCB.
But it always says that there is not enough space on my formatted 8MB Memory card.
It says it'll take 9 - 10MB of free space.
But everybody says that only 8MB Cards are supported.
    Whats wrong here? 😅

Not sure, but I just always use a real Sony memory card 8mb.

Navigate to "FMCB configurator" then select O or X as select button. Navigate to Configure OSDSYS options. Use dpad to go down to Configure item 1 and if it's empty (or if it says LaunchELF) select it, if it's not empty press right dpad until you get to an empty one. Select Name and name it LaunchELF. You can give it any name like File Browser if you wanna do it. Press □ on Path1. Navigate to mc0>BOOT> and select BOOT.ELF. If BOOT.ELF if BOOT.ELF is missing you might have to reinstall FMCB.

When you install freemcboot onto a new card does it include opl?

    • @JolliAllGenGamer

I think there is a complete package that has opl, but normally you would need to add opl yourself

The title is misleading the title should be "How to install Free McBoot to another PS2 Memory Card" Cuz if you copied the FMCB card you would get all the installed homebrew too.
