a friendlty advice, even if the ps2 memory browser shows "corrupted data" do not erase those files, it may affect the proper functionality of the free mc boot.

"how it can help you mod you ps2 in a matter of seconds" it just does the work for you lol. Great review though. What i don't like about this is the files named as "corrupted data" in the browser. People might actually think they are corrupted data and delete them. Those are actually apps. If a folder in the memory card doesnt have browser icon data(icon.sys and x.icn) in it it will show up as corrupted data in the browser. Thing is it is very easy to make browser icons. Even ulaunchelf can do very basic icons.
I actually deleted all courpted files on my Mc to free some space
Unfortunately opl is one of these files now I can't do anything on my ps2💀💔
@@SGT_SR7AN copy and paste wlaunchelf named as RESCUE.ELF in the root of your usb and that should come up when you boot the ps2 with fmcb

I just have browser and system configuration and my ps2 disk driver is dead so I think I can't do anything

@@jownbey Nah, I'm not into the ps2 games too much. The few I am, I have better ways to play them now than on the ps2. I do fix and resell ps2's though for fun. Got a few in the works now.

I've got a free mc boot card and I can only get 1 game to work out of the several I've downloaded onto my external hdd. The 1 I can get to work runs perfect but the others either don't run at all or freeze during loading screens. Any tips or advice please?
I concur, I absolutely HIGHLY Recommend this version. I ordered a different brand and wasn’t happy with it as it was broken down in different settings and options. On top of that mostly all the others I saw don’t have region change available but Kaico does. So I was able to easily change my ps2 to region free. I’d been using swap up until now. I also have a Kaico ps2 hdmi adapter that is excellent and a thousand times better than my Pound Xbox hdmi adapter. I’m very impressed with Kaico, I’ll have to keep their brand in mind whenever I get something for retro/classic gaming. They are a little more expensive but it’s worth it with the effort they put into everything. He’s right about the packaging, it’s excellent. Again my other memory card didn’t come with anything. I’m glad Blaine made it a video on it for others. That region free was huge for me.

You need a freemcboot card in your ps2 , and a USB stick with the files on it . Then get a blank memory card go into ulaunch .

@@jxfar old comment so in case you or anyone still needed to know, you don't put games on the memory card, you put games onto a USB or USB hard drive and insert that into the ps2.
random question, does it matter the memory size I get? In the Amazon store only 8MB is available, 16MB and 32MB are unavailable.

Hey, I never got a Free McBoot. As I understand it, you have to save the disc files onto a USB drive, then you can access it when you plug that into the PS3, but who knows? @@bobbyshmurdaaaaaa

I've had my Free Mcboot for a few weeks now since watching this video. I have one question. Playing off usb, some games do not play and say "file fragmented" can anyone suggest a solution? I've tried various rom sites, extracted files but still get the same issue

Yes but only if you have the Kaico. I just wrote a long comment about it too here. There may be other cards out there with the option but mine didnt nor did I see any except for Kaico as I said. You’ll only need to dl a file called MechaPwn onto a usb and put it in the ps2. It took me no longer than a minute or two to do it. Look up a video from MrMario2011 “MechaPwn:Endgame for ps2?” He has a step by step. After that you’re done and set to go! I have a bunch of Japanese imports from back in the day I wanted to get back to.

I actually went to the National Corvette Museum and Assembly Plant with the fam back in 2017. It was an extraordinary experience. It wasn't so terribly long after the infamous sinkhole struck the museum. They had some of those rescued cars on trailers out on the museum floor. It was both spiritual and heartbreaking. And the Assembly Plant? It's glorious. Like four stories tall (or taller, maybe) full of a passionate group of employees building those amazing cars.

Hi Blaine not to be a downer but you got scammed all of those Apps are Outdated you could've made a FreeMcBoot card at home with all the Latest apps and that's the wrong version of Ulaunch it doesn't support POPS.
Those Kaico guys should be ashamed of themselves for taking People's money for FREE WARE

What happens when you try to play a game from USB? If it's starting but not running smoothly it might be the limited bandwidth of USB1.1
