This weeks Wed fact. Paint it black is often accredited as Jaggers musings over a love lost who died. Jagger says its more about depression in general seeing colours in the world appearing to be painted black. Its nowt to do with Vietnam tho and gets that credit from being used as the theme for "Tour of Duty" a hella a war series that pre-dated band of brothers.
I actually did know it was about his depression...I might have actually heard that back in the day on VH1 (idk if you guys have that channel, it was sort of like a music history channel at times?) And I don't think I've heard of Tour of Duty. I don't think I've even seen all of Band of Brothers (we watched a few episodes on Thanksgiving during Basic Training lol)

Dusty, I know you've seen the entire season, so I think we can agree that Wednesday was brilliantly acted by Jenna, and it was a fun, fluffy, watch. I loved Thing and I'm a big Adam's family fan, however, I'm upset that this show received so much publicity and hype. I'm extremely upset at NETFLIX. A way better series was released a week prior. It suffered zero publicity and was already declared dead by the bean counters, and sure enough, after being trampled to death by Wednesday, it got cancelled. One day, in the distant future, I hope you get to enjoy what is a superb piece of cinema, Warrior Nun. There is now a fan-paid billboard outside of NETFLIX (across the road) demanding they save the show. Fingers crossed they do. It could have been the next big superhero phenomenon. Anyway, sorry about the rant, and I did enjoy Wednesday, but not enough to watch twice.
oh Warrior Nun was released JUST before Wednesday? That seems like it was done to bury and cancel the show on purpose. I wouldn't put it past those 'Jeanyuses' at Netflix. I guess they're walking back that 30 day login policy they announced? Whomever is leading that company NEEDS to get fired and replaced ASAP! I love hearing the fans are fighting tooth and nail for it though!

Thing is just the BEST! It was weird seeing him all stitched up, but I kind of prefer this look now, it makes more sense than just a severed hand without any noticeable...severing lol
