I'm with you on that one. They did an excellent job with the casting. Also adding the the OG, Christina Ricci to the mix was a nice throw back.

Agree that all casting is superb except Gomez. I like Luis Guzman, but not for this character. I though he should be more verbose and suave. We'll see how this goes...

Christina Ricci is not the Original Wednesday Addams. The original Wednesday Lisa Loring played Wednesday Addams at 6 years old on the 1964-1966 sitcom The Addams Family.

hi syntell,the guy that saves wednesday from the gargoyle played a big charachter in the xmen marvel tv show the gifted.
He plays Xavier Thorpe ,played by Percy Hynes White
This new show kept the same vibe as the original movie and has a great cast overhall,and i'm happy about it but the original movie was a family friendly movie but Wednesday has a darker tone with all the murders...
I wouldn't call this a family friendly series, more of a teen CW style series. I'm here for it. Just enough blood and gore to keep a PG-13 rating.

Was hoping you’d cover this one! Jenna Ortega is murdering this role. She’s soooo good as Wednesday, it’s ridiculous. The way she barely moves her face, but you can still read everything in her expression or in the subtle change in her expression. Looking forward to when you find out what Gomez did.

As far as Willow goes, we're hearing it hasn't been receiving the best reviews. We're waiting to see if the momentum on it picks up before we dedicate our time to it. But it is on our radar.
"Wednesday" is how you spin a fresh take on an old property without completely alienating people who love the old property. I wish Burton/Gough/Millar had been given a fair shot at The Vampire Chronicles over at AMC.
I am glad you also noticed the sheriff deputy woman’s hair and face were completely drenched in the rain. That was strange. I liked the show but after watching all the episodes, I thought the writing could have been better. I wished Wednesday’s wardrobe was updated more stylish and creative. Great reaction.

as a huge fan of 90's movie, and so disappointed in recent modern adaptations of everything, I was so afraid they will screw this up.. But the show delivered. It was amazing, the story, the atmosphere, the cast, Jenna as Wednesday... it was all perfect :) once again Tim Burton does not disappoint! 🥰

I grew up watching a lot of the older reruns so I wanted to see what this updated version would looks like! It has been very good! It's good to see that Netflix has again stepped up it's game by providing the viewers with unique, interesting, good writing, great acting, good visual effects and quality TV series and movies!

I thought same but was informed, the original version is how he looked not hollyweird version. I've decided to go with it.

Don’t get me wrong I love this actor been watching him since I was very young but for this part I don’t know . Him and tish it’s like you said I have to give it time I will see 😂
They cast him as the original comic version of Gomez. It's spot on.
