I'm an aircraft engineer of 30 years experience, mostly big supercharged piston and jet power plants, so this sort of thing is still my way of life and hobby. I really think you guys hit the mark WRT what people want to see and know. You could slightly reduce the off subject chatter, but thats as "mean" a critique as I can get.. you really do a pretty damn good job.. ps. a lot of people are giving information thats just wrong, you two are way better than average. Because you drive the cars and live in the real world, your info is pretty well spot on.. well done and kudos to you both, very enjoyable to watch, very informative and you both should be very happy with your efforts.. ! (seriously)..

HOLY SHIET! I have an Mk3 Supra Turbo thats running stock boost! With this video I'm definitely turning up the boost with a manual boost controller!

You should also look for the "Turbo supporting mods" episode, where he's installing a bleedvalve on his s15. 'cause if you don't you'll prolly damage your engine
I just bought my hks variable boost controller. And was buying for my mk4 supra turbo. And how do I install it onto the twin sequesters turbocharger? Can anybody give me any advices.. And I'm thru with the mk3 supra.. I sold the car and half cut. And has a few body parts off a jza70 that if anybody is interested it, please message me.

i installed one on my navara with a ZD30 engine and it runs just awesome, has far more acceleration in 3rd and 4th

blow off valve releases pressure when the throttle plate closes bleed valve controls the waste gate which increases boost pressure or lowers it depending on what your going for

Did you guys install it after the original boost control solenoid or has it been fully replaced by the mbc? I consider doing that upgrade on my fiat 500 abarth but as the boost is controlled by a solenoid that is linked to the ecu, I think the best way to do it would be with a bypass before and after the solenoid, right?

I put hallman mbc on my 04 wrx what would you guys set the boost to?
I set it to 14psi seem ok except getting boost at part throttle.

Does the car need to have boost before you install the bleed valve or does the bleed valve add boost to factory.

Good custom tuning can get rid of the ecm boost limiter i went from around 22psi to 31psi

Can anyone help me by telling which turbo was placed on Suzuki Alto?
i tried looking on gfb's site but couldn't find the bleed valve on there where else can i find one. im in the US and i drive a 1997 audi a4 1.8 turbo
does the bleed valve do the same thing as a manual boost controller?

I have an a6 2.7 twin do I need 2 valves one in between each waste gate ?
+kyle sharpe the only way to raise the boost on an Audi without putting it in "limp mode" is a tune. a bleed valve or manual boost controller can only hep stabilize boost on VAG cars, but not raise it.

WHAT TURBO UPGRADES ARE AVAILABLE FOR TX5 TURBO.......
blow off valve releases the pressure when the throttle is disengage so it doesnt fuck up the turbo. the bleed valve controls how much boost is being injected into the engine. i believe that is the correct answer.

some of this footage was in temples and turbos so i guess you guys shot this while filming for T&T
@jerry401 yea dude it doesn't have to do with the engine type. If it has a standard exhaust fed turbo a bleed valve will work to override the standard ecu bleed
