Only when his job is threatened, does he seek to do the right thing to save his job. Make no mistake, this was purely a PR stunt to look good and save face. Let's see if Newsom does the family a solid and places the property price to be taxed on at $14,500 (the amount given to the Bruce's back in 1924). Of course, taxes will be an ongoing issue. If you think this story is interesting, I would suggest you stop by and read the plaque the city or county put up. I felt insulted after reading it. It suggests the actions of the White people back then was a time long past. After reading that plaque for yourself, I would also suggest looking up Allensworth, California State Park. There are stories like this all over the country that went down the same way Manhatten Beach ran these people out. Some were burnt out, others were run out and some had their water poisoned. In South Florida, the Navy "borrowed" Delray, Floriday from a Black family during the war. After the war, the government refused to return the land. That family has also continued to sue. How many of you believe the US Government will give back an entire city to anyone, let alone a Black family?

They will never admit that they were wrong because they still don't believe what they did was right. And if any houses now sit on the Bruce's lands, well....... you just got new landlords. You can't own anything that doesn't belong to you. But the Bruce family is not in the clear yet because there will be a lot of people who will feel that since they are the master race, they will also feel that the land is theirs by a decree from God. Oh, there's a lot of stuff coming down the pike, trust me. Always has, always will be. You know it and I know it. I'm just keeping it real !!!!

I could not imagine being in that situation, I’m glad the family was able to recover rightfully what was theirs. I’m glad that one of my girls I’m training showed me this video. It’s a pretty extraordinary story. I wish this family nothing but the best. Maybe one day I’ll win the lottery so I can buy a multi million dollar beach house. Lol I’m happy for this family..
