idk about african violets but making a fresh cut on your callous and dipping into IAA for a few min before subculturing to rooting media often works well for rooting
I wish I would have shown it in the vid but I did exactly that when I took one of the violets out of TC! It's been acclimatizing and growing well, albeit sort of slowly.

Not yet. I do have some old-ish passion flower seeds. Maybe I'll try starting them in TC

Just a tip, I think you might be looking at yourself when recording, instead of the camera. Sometimes you look back towards the camera but I think it breaks the experience for the viewer. I think you're not supposed to have a feedback vid of you while recording because even though you're talking to us, it feels like you're talking to someone behind us.
