idk about rolling water onto the ceiling... a lot of loose paint spots I've encountered in my house were due to water damage or high humidity areas. Although in my circumstance, I think the water was coming from the other side of the drywall. I suppose the thought process is: if there is a good / seal adhesion, the water won't permeate the paint and cause separation from the drywall; but if the paint is already compromised, it will expedite the process?

Looks like its only pealing around the cornice. My guess is that they sprayed the already primed cornice first with some glossy paint and got overspry on the drywall before priming the drywall 1st
Yeah I thinks so too. Possibly the cornice and near the cornice didn't get a backroll and the rest did. That would work in well with my whole pro backroll narrative. Lol. Thanks man

No. Totally right. Looks super thin on paint. Coverage was good. Like wasn't see-through but wafer thin coats.. 2 at the most

You're putting water on water based paint............ I'm pretty sure that you are weakening the adhesion of the whole ceiling including the mud.
