Have you ever seen the abbreviation "bffr" while scrolling through Instagram or TikTok? Do you know what it means?? 👩‍🏫
📱 This phrase has become common in GenZ internet-slang! I know that I definitely see it all the time when I'm scrolling through TikTok....although I'm technically a millennial! 🙈😁
👩‍💻 Students always ask me, "But do people actually use this??" and my answer is always YES.
👩‍🏫 Formal language education does such a terrible job of teaching students the way people speak and communicate with each other in informal settings, like for example, the comments section on someone's TikTok video!
Like bffr school, this stuff is just as important, am I right???
