How to make Chocolate Balloon Bowls

These Chocolate Balloon Bowls are so much fun I just want to make millions of them. All you really need is a bowl of melted chocolate and balloons, wax paper on a cookie sheet and a refrigerator.
This is such a fun video to watch. Even more fun to do. Children will have a blast, adults also.
This could even be a wonderful project for a child's birthday party.
Add candy to these bowls and wrap the bowls up and use them as favors for your guest to take home.
These work great for just about any occasion. Use these balloon bowls simply for desserts. Fresh fruit and whipped cream to a rich Chocolate Mouse, ice cream or anything cold would be perfect.

Use food coloring in white chocolate to really make a statement or dip in different chocolates to get noticeable layers!

My mom did this a long time ago and the chocolate was hot when she dipped the balloon in the chocolate and it went KASPLAT! (You can still see the chocolate on the ceiling LOL)

You could use the small long balloons as the dish for banana splits. Of course you would need plenty of room in your refrigerator.

The balloon is a mould for the bowl. She will pop the balloon after and she'll be left with an edible bowl

A quick little tip for people who will do this:
I would suggest dipping it several tips in order to give it a thicker layer. It will make it more durable when handling.

Really they're ideal for parties and everyone enjoys the novelty of eating their bowl too! I love serving dessert in them mostly -obviously only cold desserts!
