  • Sinilink Smart WiFi USB smart switch. This USB smart switch device supplies USB power to connect USB devices and is controlled via WiFi. This smart USB switch is cheaply available on the internet. Usually controlled via the cloud, in this video I show you have to flash the USB Smart Switch with Tasmota firmware for local control.

    Very interesting Pete and really opens your mind to what other Smart devices can be upgraded in a similar manner 🙃

      Hi Mike. Yes, it's fantastic value and with Tasmota everything stays local and avoids sharing data over the cloud. I'm going to buy a few more. So cheap.

      A small amount of lag can be normal in those situations.

    whats the actual use of this ?

      @Builtbypete  Před měsícem +1

      If you plug it into a USB power supply, then plug USB devices into it, then you are able to remotely switch the power on an off. You can also integrate it into smart home hubs. Essentially a smart switch to control power to usb powered devices

      @@Builtbypete its like alexa ?

      No, Alexa is a hub. These are the devices you control to switch devices on and off.
