Hey great channel mate, great content and great car. I own a pre facelift 2017 model and was wondering if you got any knocking noise coming from the front end suspension? We can't seem to find the issue (whole suspension checked and one of the wishbones front left replaced). It's only after a longer drive and with slow speeds over bumpy roads you can hear it. But sometimes i also think i hear (maybe also feel) it during light braking or slow cornering. So figured it also might have something to do with the brakes. Discs and calipers are still original i believe. Also how do you feel about daily driving it? Bit harsh or not? I feel like the more i push it the smoother it gets😅 anyway good luck with the car and channel and enjoi it. will definately be watching upcoming content. Cheers

@@xiolage Thanks for the reply. The car goes for service soon so i'll make sure to make them check. Fortunately it's the only issue so far in over a year. Overall the car is fantastic!

Is it the model pre 2017 or after? Recently bought a 2020 and dont know if it would be needed
This is all 308 GTi’s with Alcon brakes up front as far as i’m aware. Easy to check when you’re next doing the pads 😊

Half way through the job I was cursing for not just taking it to the garage. Happy to get it all done in the end though! 😁

@@pk-dn5sj In the end I took it to my local garage who does my MOTs etc and they charged £100.
So you changed the back pistons as well? Thought it was only the front that had to be changed
Only did the front, just bled the whole system. 😊
@xiolage Alright, cool. I was so confused for a second,😅 but I kind of wished you showed the part how you put in the pistons, like in what order, and the seals on them aswell since I'm debating on doing it on my own. But I'm kind of scared that I'm going to mess it up.😅 none the less good video.😁
