I love how much of a savage the president is in this show. They could have totally made him into a cocky politician who gets his face beat in by Rick constantly but instead he’s a total chad who can go toe to toe with Rick and has his own arsenal of weird tech and random mole people creatures. Pretty cool.
Not entirely truth. Most of the time he gets rekt by Rick. Still, he has a great arsenal more than any other earthling could ever and even the fact he stands his ground and holds onto it is already amazing. It's not only pride, it's something more.

Of all of Keith David's work I think that he has had more fun in Rick and Morty being the President. He is an all around great voice actor, but man you can tell he is having fun on this show when he features on it.
