I feel that Miraidon is the human recreation of Koraidon, which would be why it has wheels and jets, as those are human inventions. I personally think that in Violet, Koraidon went extinct due to human behavior, and the humans needed to make a replacement to take its place so that the ecosystem doesn't collapse, or whatever importance Koraidon, being a legendary pokemon, had to the balance of the world wasn't lost.

Here's another thing (about the anime in this case) that I see almost everyone get wrong all the time. It's the reason why Brock was temporarily replaced by Tracy. Most people think it was because the anime's creators were afraid international viewers would see Brock as a racist stereotype because of his design. But according to the blog of the series director at the time, Takeshi Shudo, the truth is... pretty much the opposite. Around the time the franchise was preparing for its American debut, some of the higher-ups became concerned that a show with a character that looks like Brock (a design closer to how Americans tend to draw Asian characters) as a main character wouldn't do well in the U.S. It's a concern that sort of makes sense if you know anything about the state of Asian representation in American media at the time. However, their decision was... apparently to have viewers just absolutely hate a character that appears in every episode for a year and a half? Yeah, valid concerns or not, their solution was pretty ridiculous, and thankfully Americans loved Brock and didn't want to see him go, so he was eventually brought back and stuck around for over a decade. Regardless of your opinion on the situation, the unfortunate truth is that Tracy replaced Brock in an attempt to appeal to white people, not to prevent people getting offended from a racist stereotype (which Brock obviously isn't).

First you get an animal, this animal has modified hooves that lost all keratin (it must be a small animal, otherwise it would hurt to live, a lot) then, through selective adaptation, this species got an evolutionary niche in which a part of the feet's bone slowly degrades after reaching adulthood, it then falls apart leaving exactly an independent piece of bone separated from the rest of the leg, wheel-shaped, with a bony axle going through it, the axle being part of the leg.

    • @vladprus4019

      Also, on top of that:
No, it is not a regular thing in games that people are getting "regional starter" on specific birthday and are all going around fighting gyms.
Getting starters in games is generally not framed that way, each situtation is different like Oak gives Red a Pokemon in order to give him protection and use him as a help to complete Pokedex. Other time MC get's Pokemon in other situtaion, sometimes as temporary emergency (that becames pernament quickly after), sometimes as a gift etc.
Aslo, starters are never in-game framed as being bred to be specifically gifted to begginer trainers as the first Pokemon. Yeah, they're designed that way out-on-universe, but in-universe "starters" are not established concept. They are always framed that Pokemon that just happen professor (or someone else giving them) just happen to give to you, specifically.
Especially since we are meeting various trainers with varied age and wide range of Pokemon. We are even seeing characters like Wally that is CATCHING his first Pokemon in the wild (that is completly different than any of the "starters")
Also, there is nothing about people going on a gym journey at the specific age, it's just something protagonists happen to do on their own, not an established custom.
Those things are pretty much coming from the anime, as they are established as regular occurence in the first anime episode.

just based on lore the Cosmog evolution line ARE Ultra Beasts. they are originally not from this world and came to us through Ultra Wormholes, which they can also open and travel through. I think it rather was a gameplay mechanic decision to not make them catchable with Beast Balls. first and foremost, it never was set that a Legendary HAS to be caught be with a certain type of ball before and it never has been since. sure, the Master Ball is supposed to be used for this kind of situation, but even that is optional. the other reason, and that also seems obvious, is that there is only a certain number of Beast Balls you can get in the game. if you're off to catch a Legendary, you know it can take you up to 100 Balls or even more to get that son of gun. if my calculations are correct, then you're able to get 50 Beast Balls over the entirety of Sun/Moon - and all of them AFTER the main story, when the Legendaries have already been caught. so in order to make Solgaleo/Lunala catchable with Beast Balls, they would've had to think of an entirely different system of when and how to get these, so it was probably easier to say: "they're the box Legendaries; let's just treat them as the box Legendaries and catch them with whatever ball you've got in your bag."

I can understand mispronouncing Zacian, to a degree. I can understand both Z-ar-cian and Za-cian, I just imagine them as the UK and the American pronunciation (since the “ar” sound is often replaced with “ah”, such as with “can’t”).
Zay-cian is technically wrong, if you follow official sources, but there aren’t any problems as long as people understand what you’re referring to.
