This is a cover of a George Jones song, this song is originally more Nashville Sound. US Country music has many different sounds. There is Nashville Sound, Bakersfield sound, Blue Grass or Mountain sound, there is Country Folk sound, Country Blues sound, Country Gospel sound, there is Texas or Austin sound, there is Country Rock, Country pop and Southern Country sound.. The USA is a fairly large country, and the diverse sound in each of our genres of music, reflect the many regions of the USA...Chris Stapleton is of the Country Blues sound, plus he does some more true to form, Southern Country sound..
