Expelled 3D Print Fumes Out the Window!!! Voron 2.4 Mod

- This video is about a Voron Mod, on how I made my own magnetic exhaust system for my Voron 2.4 Printers! This system will help reduce the fumes that come from the ABS printing process, making my printing room much breathable, and it will eliminate the fumes that come from the printing process.
For printing of ABS, I felt the need to remove the fumes in a much more complete manner, which is out through the window, and also needed more convenience during maintenances, hence, I designed and developed the Magnetic Exhaust System. Having 2 Voron 2.4 printers built specifically to print ABS filament, I have to figure a twin exhaust system to keep the air in my room breathable.

@@TheAluminumCarpenter EXCELLENT!
By the way, im already working on version 2, to work hand in hand with my 3d printer rack enclosure, video should be out in a couple days. Pls subscribe to catch the new video.
@@TheAluminumCarpenter Done!
Did u successfully download the files?
fantastic design from the ground up & i like the way you used magnets for everything everywhere and snap!!
Yes! Snap everything in place 😂
I see that HDB! Hello fella Singaporean!
This is too fun to watch and to see it work out!
I like the split screen view! And your print quality is crazy good really impressive.
Thank you for your kind words!
Sick twin exhaust dude
hey thanks, but I really need to know which part do you like best?
Very impressive work!
Thanks!
Yea, it was really the time to hit the subscribe button! 👍 Really cool solution and it would be cool if you share the files! Thank you in advance! ❤
Hey thanks for swinging by from instagram!
Looks good! Might give it a try.
I like to hang out in my garage while printing, but don't really trust the filter. I'd love to try this.
You probably need to arrange a window ready for this, and, u need to share the garage with ur printer.. 😂
@@TheAluminumCarpenter Definitely like the idea of sharing. There's an outlet behind the outside paneling that I'd connect this to. Will likely require some editing (if you were to share the files), but I could definitely make it work.
please hold on a while longer. I have intention to share the files over a next video that will probably show the assembly... and also, i need to tidy up the design files. I will make it free for all in view of what the Voron Team has provided for the community.
@@TheAluminumCarpenter Thanks!
@@malikmartin welcome. no need for thanks at all. Appreciate you watching!
why dont you throw them up on the new voron forum under mods - when exhausting, you dont notice any temp drop in the chamber
May i know how to find this forum?

@The Aluminum Carpenter - Thank you alot for making this, I will add this to my printer setup. did you use a 40mm polyurethane hose or is that something different?
Yes u are right!
What size fan and vent tube does this model use?
Fan 60mm. Tube 40mm.
Are your exhaust fans always on? Or do you turn them on manually when printing ABS? Or even better did you somehow manage to get your slicer to turn them on when using something like an abs preset
It starts when print starts, as i set it in klipper. No, i dont know how to preset it just to do that for ABS. Its printing excellent, i can work in the same room without smell. Im working on V2 of this system. And also integrate it into the rack, as in my latest video.
Any concern for the impact to the chamber temperature?
Yes, temp is lower.
Other than that, no changes to print quality.
Thank you so much
