I have done that walk a couple of times.But in One day,starting at Hinton Ampner at 7..00 am and reaching Southampton at 5.00 pm.It's a really great walk,and I really enjoyed your video
Cheers David. Kudos to you for doing the whole walk in one day! That was also my original plan, but then I got to Winchester at 2pm and since I was living there at the time I decided to break it down in two days to make it more enjoyable.

Cheers! Ahah yes, I know, I've included an amendment on the video when I realised I misquoted his name. To be honest I didn't know who he was back then, so when I met him I called my partner home and asked what the fuss was all about :D
The path parallel with M27 was nice and clear when you walked through. I tried today, it was full of thorny plants. It was very difficult to walk through. My fingers and arms were scratched. By the way, from your video, it seemed that you didn't walk pass Southampton Airport. The way parellel with airport runway was difficult to walk too. It was quite muddy. I should try your route. Can you please share the map of your walk? Thank you in advance.
Hiya! Sorry to hear that you've encountered difficulty on your walk, but I hope you managed to complete it anyway! All the rain in the last few months and little maintenance probably did not help with the vegetation. I did walk past Southampton Airport, by the way. @@luca.manelli The path parallel to the M27 is still almost impassable. I tried to access it a few days ago from Manbridge Reservoir. Does anyone know of any planned maintenance? I see total neglect.
Hi Brian, I could not find any info on any planned maintenance. Was it still impassable because of overgrown vegetation?
