Right To Information or RTI is an Act of the Constitution of India. This unique Act helps in questioning the working methods of government agencies and bringing about some transparency to institutions long burdened with corruption problems. The Act brings power to the hands of the layman, as he can demand any information from any government organization. All firms have an obligation to reply to a Right to Information Act 2005 within 30 days of the filing. Else the concerned officer has to pay a penalty fine.
The Parliament passed this law on June 15, 2005. The law came into force on October 12, 2005. Each day more than 4800 RTIs are filed. During the first decade of the launch of this act, more than 17,500,000

My contract ends on 1 july 2021 but they paid me till may 2021 they didnt paid my payment of june 2021 till today. Every time i asked for them about me. They said we did not have fund for this.

Hi Mr Jain, I have watched ur video twice and found so informative. our neighbour is constructing his building ignoring setback rules of Govt. We requested twice to our Municipal board. But, yet no action has been taken from there end and the constitution work is going on.. Hence please suggest whether we can go for RTI .. if yes, then what will be the effective way???

Dear sir ;My son R Kalita is working in Jorhat Inst of sc &technogy as an Asst prof in the dept Bsc ITfrom 25/7/2019 as regular contractual basis against sanctioned vacant post. When appointment was done the institute was society mode the prinpal was apponting authrity. But the higher education authority is not regularsing his servicse though submitting his documents properly by the prinpal of the Inst. Pl. advice for filing RTI.

Sir I have my family pension account in PNB .It doesn't give me the benefit as in my revised PPO under new pension scheme 1964 .The bank authority of that time gave me the benefit as given in the Revised PPO but the new authority who was unknown to this rule he started recovery from my pension.
