If it were up to me, I'd make Legends Kessel the moon of Canon Kessel to explain where Glitterstim comes from in Canon while sticking with the fact Kessel has Coaxium mines.

Legends Kessel reminds me of Imperium Resource/Mining worlds in 40k, a constant and unending waking nightmare where the average lifespan depends on how fast you can run out of a mineshaft. Love it

Didn't know that tidbit at the end of Lando renovating the mines. Good on him for putting the injustice of Kessel to an end.
If there is one planet worthy to be the Death Star's target, it will be Kessel. Without it, it means no more glitterstim.
With how it works and the fact it‘s implied that the celestial are the ones who created it, I wonder if glittestin was made using midichlorians or perhaps the force itself.
Legends Kessel is better because of the theory that the Celestials had created the spiders/Glitterstem as a means of communication with mortal beings

Can you do more planetary guides on worlds that we’ve heard of in Star Wars media but still don’t know much about, like Hypori for example?? All I know about Hypori is just that is where Sidius killed Plaegus!!
Sidious killed Plagueis on Coruscant. Hypori is where Grievous revealed himself to the Jedi by destroying their army and defeating all of the Jedi here save for Ki-Adi Mundi who was saved by an ARC Trooper squad led by captain Fordo.

Since when did Star Wars media actually care about the rights of droids?
3PO, being a protocol droid, and knowing the at-that-time state of the mines....I can understand his fear. If Lando and his partner actually maintain the droids they have working there and choose droids designed for mining, I like to imagine those droids would be as satisfied as 3PO translating for a diplomatic conference.
I always visualised Kessel as that cameo scene of David Lycnh in Dune. Dark, nasty outside and dark and suffocating inside

So... the SW verse isn't familiar with extreme low light/almost no light NVGs an Infared goggles an devices, motion detectors, an radar/sonar scanners?? None of which hardly need light lto effectively detect any life moving around so can react accordingly???

I kept thinking that Kessel was a giant asteroid that was half the size of Earth. Since I've played Empire at war, I've always seen it as a giant asteroid with smaller ones orbiting it. I didn't think it was an actual Planet at the time. It may be famous for the coaxium and the spice, but it's more famous because of how corrupt it is. One could say that it's just as corrupt as the Republic Senate. It's especially depressing when all the workers are working in awful conditions and don't have the proper protection from inhaling too much of the spice. Being exposed to that every day is bound to take a toll on your mental and physical health. Because spice is the Star Wars counterpart to tobacco, it's easy to see exactly what kind of health problems you could suffer if you were sent there. If that isn't depressing and depriving enough-- sometimes the workers could fall victim to energy spiders or they could get crushed if a tunnel collapses.
Making the Kessel Run a thing in universe that is measured in parsecs was a major mistake of EU writers since it detracts from that scene in the movie, changes the nature of Han's character and just makes no sense.
It still shows his knowledge and/or daring/ability to go down a route no other has gone before.

Why the fuck are they obsessed single source materials of galactic importance? Example: only only one source of Hyperspace Fuel, I'm sorry but this is a fantasy breaking peice of stupidity, neither the Republic or the Empire should have existed under such conditions, at least they find alternatives in Dune over an equally vast time scale, yet in SW Lore, Nope, single source strategic sources for everything, it's just lazy writing. Funny how they never even mention hyperspace fuel until episode 7 or 8?? Sorry but a single source of fuel for all interstellar travel would have been a hot topic even in the days of the old republic and it honestly just feels like they are trying to retcon the whole fucking universe and I'm just not down.
