I always liked the Nasty Boys. Jerry looks like he has been taking care of himself.. Its always good too see guys from the 80's n 90's in an interview you havent seen in quite somethime.. Good too see Sags is still with us!
Man, I could sit and listen to Jerry Sags tell stories all day! He has a way with words and is so descriptive of things. He needs to have his own podcast if he doesn't already!
The moral of the story is : DON'T FUCK WITH KEVIN KELLY!!
And what did it do for him? It basically ended his career and he was relegated to small time indies, doing matches in front of 50 people.

Word on the street is that George "The Animal" Steele told Nailz that he was getting screwed pay-wise to stir some sheet up. The result? Vince ended up getting "Sprewelled".
Perfect was a real instigator. I’ve heard him do this on many occasions.
I never got why people said he was such a great guy. His ribs were not harmless. They were mean-spirited and the source of backstage tension.
@justafan5598 I agree, there is a difference between a 'rib' or prank, and acts of just mean spiritedness. Costing someone their money or starting something between folks for no reason, isn't that funny.
@@justafan5598 yes, his ribs got people beaten to a pulp. Nothing funny about that. And did you hear about him on the plane ride? He almost took down a whole plane of wrestlers. Also the guy did lots of drugs and died from them. Not really a model citizen.

Sags does look great. Makes me happy to see guys from my youth still going and looking healthy after losing so many guys from the 80s and 90s early.
I was an indie wrestler from Green Bay. This was the 1st time they sent me to WWF tv taping. I remember all the indie guys freaking out because this was also the 1st taping for the Steiners & Sid. One guy facing the Steiners had his shoulder separated. Scott had him up like a fireman’s carry from the 2nd rope. The guy wouldn’t let go of the ropes to take the move. Rick comes punches the guy in the face full force so he lets go then Scott dumps him so all of both their weight is taken by shoulder. Everyone watching on the monitor knew it was gone as soon as it happened. Anyway this was all at the time WWF was getting accused of molesting young boys. I’m walking through the back of the Brown County Arena when I get to the hallway that leads to Vince’s makeshift office. At the end of this hallway where i stood is a pay phone, yes cell phones didn’t exist yet. Nailz is kind of messing around with the phone & sees me. He goes hey kid, did you get paid yet? I go no. He says well right down there is Vince’s office. Walk down there kick the door open & say I’m here for my money. I just smirk & say after you. With that Nailz goes into the office & I hear all the yelling & banging.
Now I haven’t been 👂 by this in these stories..
When Kevin comes back down that hallway he grabs the phone & calls 911. I hear him say my name is Kevin Kelly. I’m at the Brown County Arena for WWF Wrestling & I’ve just been sexaually assaulted by Vince McMahon. Please get here I hear them can coming. I have to go. Well because of cops there for security they can hear stuff of the radios the cops have & they get a Vince out of the building. The next night was more tv tapings in Madison WI. We pull up cops all over looking for Vince. He’s long gone as he went back to Connecticut instead of going to Madison. It was a crazy weekend.

Curt Henning for as great a wrestler as he was always seemed to be carrying stuff to far! Guarantee Curt was behind the boot and the RAM both just to get a laugh for himself.
Hennig was an asshole that stired all that stuff up with Dynamite kid & Jaques Rougeou too

I always wondered what Kevin Kelley thought about after doing this? Like do you have immense regret? He was in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, from total obscurity and in a few months working a program with the Undertaker on the cover of WWF magazine and threw it all away because he wanted more money from a match with the big banana man? It's just so idiotic like Arn quitting WWF because they didn't pay him on time, even though he was making 5 times more than he did with WCW. I guess some people aren't good with math or thinking long term, or both.
If Nailz had done that to Tony Kahn 10:06 , Tony would’ve cried, curled up in the fetal position, and probably died.
The only thing 'nasty' about Sags is the namesake. Looks like he's had some youth and vitality serum or something. Love to see it.

I've got a photo and autograph from the Nasty Boys a couple years ago. Jerry and Brian were awesome to meet but Jerry is an intimidating person. He can still kick your ass. I understand why Eric Bischoff said Saggs is a legitimate tough guy when he mentioned Saggs beating up Scott Hall.

Hennig was like Ryan O'Reilly in Oz. Pitting people against each other and somebody getting seriously hurt or losing a lot of money at the end of his ribs while he goes off scott free.

@@MarkVrem From what I've heard from other wrestlers, Nailz wasnt exactly liked backstage so I dont think there would be any heat from them.
Nailz did what most wrestlers and othe promoters wished they had the balls to do. The best thing you could do in a situation like that is to notify the other wrestlers what was going on, so they could watch too.
