I was making log slices on felled branches about 4-5 inches in diameter (for coasters) on my Laguna 14BX when the saw grabbed the log, threw it off of the table and put some right angles in the blade. It happened pretty fast, made a bunch of noise and was a warning from above to stop being stupid. To fix the problem I decided to order the Carter miter mill from Woodcraft. It is extremely well made and really easy to use. What a difference it made.
