Awesome! You guys should put OB flashes when someone goes OB. Its hard to tell if someone went OB or not on the practice rounds, especially on this course.
Can you watch jomez coverage on dgn or is it only dgn 480p 0 brightness until the 19th?

Big Jerm with the play by play breakdowns, for me it makes these practice rounds really enjoyable 👍
Paul looks so comfortable. You can tell he knows how to remain mentally relaxed. Like Jeremy said, even his misses on the green have a chance to go in.
And yet he's only -1 after the first round.
Remember a few years ago when everyone complained you couldn't see the OB lines. They sure took that criticism to hearr.
Maybe he does hate on it and I missed it but it seems like Uli loves this course. A course that weaves through a College campus, sidewalks, parking lots, electrical boxes, fences, baseball fields, telephone poles, light poles, fake trees, fake wood poles, huge amount of man made OB, etc etc etc. But Maple Hill that's NOT a Major is terrible because of gravel roads and Christmas trees?
Uli likes courses that play “fair” and are difficult. He doesn’t like it when two people appear to throw the same shot but get drastically different results. Maple hill is a blast to watch but the Christmas trees and ground play there make for some of the most random good or bad play imaginable.
Fair enough. I like both courses. I think the significance of USDGC being a Major is what makes the Winthrop course so alluring and exciting but it's not even close when it comes to what course I think most people rather visit/play. (Maple Hill)@@chuckwalla123
I hate that we have to wait two weeks to see the coverage because I hate watching when I already know the outcome and I doubt I can go two weeks without it getting spoiled.

I don't follow the sport close enough to get exposed to spoilers BUT I do wonder if putting the content behind a paywall will payoff in the long run... Can't imagine they will have as many people wanting to support through Patreon for delayed coverage.

We got a big beautiful group of it deep in the sticks of a nature trail near our house in Travelers Rest.

They are constantly complaining about hole design all the time (as well as other pros). I love them but it really gets old.
Man I'm sad you guys sold and now we don't get next day coverage. Let's put everything behind a pay wall. I'll never buy dgn cause live isn't how I watch.
Jerm and Uli aren’t fooling us. We remember that argument during the practice round and it obvious they are be extraordinarily nice to each other, instead of bustin balls like they used to do during practice rounds.
They must’ve had an agreement before the round to be overly complimentary towards each other and are most likely getting a good laugh out of it when the cameras are off. 😂
I assume ULI doesn't watch these because his keys are very annoying. Is it to much to just put them in his bag
I have been following James for about 3 years now and have always enjoyed you guys. Your commentary is un matched in the disc golf community and I really appreciate it so much, you guys are great in my humble opinion. But, I know the big but! I understand you are changing your format from same weekend coverage to a kind of pay per view or paid membership type of programing. I just hate to see that. I got started in disc golf about 18 months ago and love playing and learning the game. I am 75 and live in the Dallas Forth Worth metroplex so going to live events are not affordable for me so I watch on youtube and now you are charging for that, so disappointing, I'll still watch but it's still disappointing.
Jomez….Who made the decision to wait two weeks after DGC for coverage. This is absolutely disappointing and literally forcing people to buy the DGN crappy coverage. The DGN is the worst thing to ever happen to disc golf IMO, I really hope the institutionalization of DG as a whole slows down. The greed is getting out of hand from The DGN, disc scalpers, and the costs of Tournaments (c-tiers are going for $60-$120) in my area. Please stop NFLing my DG.
I love such a heartfelt statement. Couldn't agree more with the commercialization tarnishing such a pure sport. I'm afraid the only way to help it return to obscurity is to quit watching coverage and going to events. In turn, it will prevent the worship of individuals. Keep your courses clean y'all. 🧡
