Post produced really is better. I see the disc golf world is in agreement
Good Guy Simon reminding another player on hole 9, "Take it back as far as you want on your previous line of play." See too many players get frustrated with an OB and forget they don't have to cut themselves off right up against a tree or with bad footing. Simon is good people.
Absolutely. For Evan and Robert being young players and new to this level of play, I don't think they could've ended up with better cardmates for their first elite series final.
Simon is the freaking man. Such a genuinely nice guy.
In my last two tournaments, this has come up at least once per weekend. Always feels good to help a homie out even though you're in competition with them!
The peoples champion. Paul has the credentials, Simon has the deserved clout
I could watch the flight and post-landing spin on Simon's hole 7 tee shot all day. So sick. And props to the Jomez follow flight team for landing the Quad on 7.
Burridge has that tiger-esque final round swagger. Exciting young player, could take disc golf into the new era.
But also incredible sportsmanship as well. I love his interactions with simon the whole time.
Relax.
First time I ever heard his name. You realize how many young guns are on tour waiting for their moment? It's a big line in front of him. 💯🤙🏽🥏⛓️
Hole #7 follow flight starframe is another reason Jomez production crew is the best without question. Thanks Jomez for all of the great content.
It’s been very exciting to see Simon on lead card lately. He is one of the OG’s in my eyes. My love for the sport was stoked by watching watching when I first started playing. Keep crushing crush boy!
Being one of those CRAZIES on hole 5...WE HAD A BLAST!... Enjoyed watching everyone play, and smile!
Robert Burridge is the local legend around my part. So cool to see him on coverage
Are you guys from Houston? I think I’ve played with him is a tournament before.
HUGE shout out to the Jomez graphics team for the super rad quad follow flight on hole 7. Such a cool and unique way to visualize how many different styles and approaches there are to the sport of disc golf!
Me and Evan Smith played a casual round together a few years ago. Never met him before then. He threw a putter on a hole that I had always thrown a mid on and I thought to myself, "Wait I can get a putter there I think." So I threw a putter and aced it. Anyway, I'm still trash and he's great. Thank you Evan for inspiring me to be better at disc golf for exactly one throw.
The follow flights on hole 7 looked like those toys in a doctors office for little kids with the wooden blocks
Yes thanks so much for making my morning. I can’t believe you get such amazing content out so early.
Hole 7 was awesome. They under-sold how they starframed the second hardest hole, with 4 completely different shots!
Always fun to see Simon in a Final. Makes it worth watching even more. Hoping for many more wins to come
Great field audio this round! Maybe I just didn't notice before, but it seemed like the sound of the discs landing or hitting chains was more pronounced this time.
Jomez brings GREAT editing and commentary. Thanks for the fine work!
The follow flight showing all 4 tee shots was fantastic. Really shows the diversity of ways you can end up with 4 great tee shots.
I had to rewind hole 9 to see the opening throws because I was concentrating on Paul and Jerm talking if you can see the trees from tee 😀
One of the best final rounds in a long time.
WOW! If it's possible for a single image to convey why I love disc golf, 30:27 is as close as you're ever going to get! 4 park jobs with 4 unique lines. The creativity and personality that our sport enables is just incredible. I might literally have to frame that moment lol
That's even more interesting and cool to look at than the Quad Follow Flight from 2019 Worlds FinalB9!
Not just words...Nate Sexton is the true voice of disc golf, others are good but Nate is the best!
Big Congratulations to my favorite player....keep it coming Simon, SIMON, SIMON!
Have to watch this again. So much better then the live broadcast in terms of quality. And my favourite commentators. 👌🍻
I got to play this layout one day after the event, it was the best course I played of the year, and I look forward to hanging out with the 'FIVE VIBE' next year!
So much Jomez coverage in the matter of a day. I love it. Thanks guys!!
I absolutely love watching Simon play. That's one reasons he's one of my favorites.
You are doing what we need. Keep it going.
Burridge's putt at 27:10 certainly looked iffy at full speed, but the card and commentators made the right call by saying it wasnt a foot fault. Fishy for sure, but his arm swings back, his left foot lifts up, and then his hand reaches down to the ground. Definitely had balance otherwise his hand would touch before his back foot came up.
Quadruple follow light zoomed out is art my dude
I actually watched this live yesterday, but it was so entertaining I have to come back and watch Jomez take on it!
What an effort and round by Robert
EVAN! I’m another opera singing disc golfer! Studying at the university of Montana!
wtfrigg is jomo turning into nascar?
Needed to give that quadruple follow flight another watch through, that level of work doesn't go unnoticed fellas.
Jerm, next time you play with Evan tell him that it’s your birthday and that nobody has sung you the happy birthday song yet, that way he will be subconsciously inclined to sing it for you and you will get to hear him sing
That quad follow flight on 7 tho!! Next level graphics there!
Awesome coverage and production
That follow flight on hole 7 was freaking sweet!
Majoring in Disc Golf, with a fall back in Music! Sounds like a fool proof plan! lol. I wish you the best sir, musician to musician, I truly hope it works out for the best!
that quad follow flight was SO SICK
Four-color follow-flight. Love it!
Playing a course that Jomez has covered is insanely humbling. I consider myself to have a decent arm in terms of distance, but the camera absolutely makes these holes seem shorter than they are. I experienced this most with Eagle Crossing (phenomenal course) and I got absolutely whooped by the course, but it really showed me what I was lacking in my game, and gave me more appreciation for the coverage and the shots these guys are throwing.
So long story short, Thanks Jomez Team!
Joel is the KING of hating a shot out of the hand that like either parks or is otherwise very good that anyone would take ever!
what a round!! let s go SIMON!!!!
Here we go Atta BABY!! Lets go Simon!!
"My brother was better than me. Ha, he's not better than me now." xD loved that
Burridge coming in hot with one of the best sponsor shirts on tour
The dmc looks amazing!
I'm pretty sure Joel won the Match Play title this year. Maybe it's not considered elite series. Not sure, but I definitely remember him winning it
Simon was like: "moin challenge"? hold my beer!
Houston local on lead card? HELL YEA LET'S GO BURRIDGE
Thank you team Jomez. 🙏
Jerm, that shirt rocks!!!
-7 down on Jomez final round. Impression made. 😳 watch out for this guy wow 😮
Flying Squirrel, that was a midrange by ABC discs. I used to bag a Secret Weapon.
Dear Big Jerm,
You need not worry that any other group will out do the 8 holes. Just you wait for this years MVP Open ;)
Can't wait!
I may have misunderstood what they said but wouldn't you have a larger margin of error (in terms of the range of angle) if you release closer to the trees/further up the tee-pad?
They’re talking about the uphill angle. Standing further back makes it less steep
Looks like Evan has seen some Paul Mcbeth coverage.
So you're saying if I go to church I could be out there really good at disc golf too?
Lets get it
Is it just me, or is Smith’s ricochet off the tree branch invisible? Uli tells me “look at this rolling”. I’m trying, brother, but I don’t see it.
it's a green disc, hard to see it goes far back and right. super small on the screen. I can't see till it's almost OB on right
Okay question: Do I have to purchase a ticket to view the Livestream? I'm a dummy and switched shifts with someone at work so I work that day but I really need to see this coverage!
Thank you for everything…
Simon! Simon!
There does seem to be an odd amount religious disc golfer profiles. Nothing wrong with it, but at this point I can’t wait for Nikko to come back and do a profile on his crystals.
Lmao in all seriousness it's probably because there are a good amount of church courses
Here in Texas disc golf is big among church groups. In fact, many churches build courses on their land for both public and private use.
My church has a disc golf small group and we are traveling together up to watch worlds in Emporia
Yeah, religion of self worship. The “initials logo” that everyone is making is ridiculously narcissistic
@@palestalemale8831 you think there is something wrong with people being vocal about their personal faith and playing disc golf?
@@palestalemale8831 can’t even begin to understand this logic lol
i dont get the idea of "next day live". its impossible not getting spoilered after worlds.
No star frame graphic on hole 3?
Hole 7.. 🤯
Is it new or have I just never noticed there are l time stamps for each hole on the play bar??
The saver of coffee moment
Now if they just make some follow flight fuel again for those coffee moments
Lovin the NC shouts Jerm. NC guy here just picking up the sport, I’m addicted now!
I'll mention it here, I've been thinking about this for a while. Hole 8. Joel putts out while holding his cart. I've seen Jerm do it twice. Is there a support rule for this?
Gotta love the "fuck it, we'll do it live!" Bill O'Reilly clip.
Lizotte in the title...double the views
Seeing all the sprinter vans lined up, it makes me laugh
Already know the outcome and I'm watching this. 👀
I got through hole 3 my first throw in practice. It went long. If it starts left left side gap then ends right side of it should be parked.
What putts on hole 3 during the playoff
Robert has some drip gawdamn
Best follow flights ever on hole 7
"I like this"... disc goes in the water!
19:51 Jerome on the bag less goo
Fun fallback for sure, not safe (singing)
HOLE FIVE!! THE HIVE!!!
🔥🔥🔥
I've been reading the comments looking for talk about the spotter on hole #3, why is no one commenting on him suddenly?
LETS GO SIMON
ok, "Yeet Street Discs" is like the best company name ever
why no big forehand on hole 6?
rule is not that you maintain balance... you must demonstrate balance which means if people watching can't tell, then you are doing something wrong. 806.01B: "player must demonstrate full control of balance behind the marker disc before advancing".
I think hole 5 is where the beer stand is.
Pressure is a privilege is an awesome perspective
🔥🔥🔥
This is a much watch if only for the quadruple follow flight
Burridge in the zone 🔥
❤️
I bet randy moss is nuts at disc golf, it'll be good to hear his commentary at worlds
What was all the cheering for on hole 2?
Shouts out to all the opera singers that play disc golf!
New to disc golf here. Why do they start with negatives strokes already instead of starting from 0?
This coverage shows the third round of a three round tournament. The players have already played two rounds prior to this and are coming into the final day with established scores. Since this is the lead card, these players have scored the best thus far (hence the negative strokes).
@@jasonallen6781 I understand now. I never thought it would be accumulated scores. Thank you very much.
Sheeeeesh
I never understood why the Leopard gets so much shade. I've honestly been keeping it out of my bag because of the shade, but Robert reminded me of how fun it is to throw... If a pro is using it and leading a tournament, I'm gonna use it too!
Leopard3 is one of my go-to's!
Leopard gets shade? It's a classic disc. Its flippy, so it isn't for every shot, but it definitely has its shots and is a classic for a reason.
Edit: what I think does get a lot of shade is 150 class dx leopards that are completely beat. Those ARE actually useless.
@@kruksog I think it gets shade from being in the Inova starter pack for 20 bucks at Dick's lol
Burridge? Phenomenal front 9.
