Love this! I’m in esthetician school so I’ve been binging all of your videos ❤️
I’m just diving in the beautiful sea of knowledge I have found in your channel!
Love watching your videos. So informative. Love the honesty and direct delivery!
I was just contemplating my melasma and there's a new video!
She is so pleasing to listen to, I love the gestures she does, she is just awesome
Love this! Topicals Faded has been amazing for my hyperpigmentation.
One of the best videos I have looked at regarding hyperpigmentation. Thank you Dr Idriss.
So off topic but the view of the city in the background and the ambience in general were super calming for some reason. Thank you for posting these videos 💓💓
Yess! I love you Dr Shereene Idriss and how real you are! I love that it sounds like my friend is talking to me!! Your personality is stellar and i always look forward to your next video!!
Love your natural, unedited, unfiltered videos and authentic content. Please keep it coming
I love that Beauty of Joseon sunscreen! Almost finished with my first bottle and this reminded me that i need to repurchase.
The newsletter is great!❤️
I will admit, I have never heard any Dr. lay it all out like you just did! My Dermatologist hasn't made it this clear for me. I will make a few changes in my morning routine when layering the products you spoke of. Thank goodness I have only a few scattered brown spots on my hands, arms and face.
I absolutely love you...your energy and wisdom is invaluable.
Another great video!! I always look forward to your advice. Has certainly helped me in my skincare journey so I thank you.
P.S.. You have a great sense of style. Your shirts are always very pretty💜💜
The BoJ sunscreen is a new addition to my routine. So far, so good! Wish it were water resistant, though.
Thank you Dr Idris for setting me up with hydroquinone, and all your skintips, it has really helped with my hyperpigmentation 🥺🥺
Just subscribed to your channel, and i think you're great! You're so straight up and love it! Your gestures are great! Thanks for the info ...... all the way from Canada
Good morning Dr Idriss and everyone ❤
It seems like Dr Idriss has read my mind 😄 (I have already added Alpha Arbutin to my Routine, can't wait to learn more)
I found your channel about two weeks ago and omgggg you’re amazing
Love the advice! You look gorgeous 💗
Thank you so much for all the skin care education.
Can you also do a video on how to layer the products mentioned?
Thanks!
Love your commentary on this issue!
Also, I had no idea our skin becomes immune to Hydroquinone - I will use it 2 months on then 2 months.
You are wonderful and I appreciate your honesty! Cheers
This is the first time I’ve seen someone mention Addison’s Disease related to melasma, so thank you. I have both. Also, lots of sun damage from my youth (in AZ no sunscreen whatsoever, frequent blistering sunburn as a child). The three things together make it hard to treat my large melasma patches on the face, neck, and chest. I do wear sunscreen religiously though.
I’ve just started to use the Paula’s choice booster….I let it dry really well and then apply my cerave moisturizer with spf and it isn’t pilling. 💚💚💚💚
Omg. I loooove that Beauty of Joeson sunscreen too. Holy grail ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
Tanks for your tips, doc! Brazilians are looking for you!❤
Yess! It’s nice to find more Brazilians in her videos 🇧🇷 When she said: “vamos, vamos, vamos”, I got like 😍😍😍 She said just like a Brazilian would say. Perfect accent!
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. I'm completely bummed I found you after I moved out of NY. I made a dermatology appointment. I had to wait 6 months, so I used Agency to get a tretinoin formula and a hydroquinone formula.
Many blessings to you and yours. 💖💖💖
i bought a UPF jacket 2 months ago and i've been wearing it everywhere, it's my personality now
Fabulous video and so informative!! And you are pretty funny at times! : )
Eu estou amando os seus vídeos! Thank you so much 🇧🇷
Thank you for this video and the other last one you did! Im Hispanic light skinned 33 turning 34 this year. I’ve had it since my 25’s I have 2 boys 10 & 11. This has me very depressed!! I have sooo many skin care products high end and cheaper and nothing works.. its to the point where I don’t want to go anywhere just to work and back home. I’ve also bought vitamins and 👎 btw you are sooo beautiful 💕
We so appreciate you, giving us your time and ❤️ wisdom. I added Vit C. and have noticed a difference 💝💝💝
Needed this ❤✨
Please make video about “Facial hair removal methods” ❤
Excellent advice. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this! I have melanin in my skin and very stubborn dark spots from the last bits of acne that I had before my tret+spiro treatment, so it's very helpful.
First of all, I am a big fan. Thank you for the flood of good reliable information 🥰
My skin is way better, following your advice. Thank you!
Been meaning to ask you your opinion about facial yoga. Specially firming the eye area and getting rid of double chin.
Does it work? Is it beneficial or is it damaging and counterproductive?
Loving your videos and content! Would love to learn tips for face freckles essentials :)
Thank you very much. I love your videos! I love your approach.
I love this video, thanks Dr Sheree
I love that painting 🖼 gorgeous !!!
I love your videos. My favourite Dermatologist! 😍 ❤️
I love my Korean sunscreens. They are cosmetically elegant, don’t burn my eyes and have superior new ingredients that can’t get approval here. These are used in Europe, Korea and Australia. Come on FDA get some new laws on your books and welcome in the 21st century!!
Hi! I’d love to start korean sunscreens. How do we know if it measures up to SPF rating standards? TIA.
Exactly, I don’t understand why the don’t want use new filters 🤔🤷🏻♀️ than good nowadays we have access to Asian and European 🤩
I use European sunscreens, they are the most advanced. All those mineral filters are comedogenic and US used chemical filters are ridiculously outdated and absolutely ineffective. FDA is just corrupted and bribed, protect the market.
Oh really why don’t you check out what they do to dogs and cats
Just horrible
Do not support Korea for Anything!!!
Thank you for the great tips and products 💕
Would love for you to do a dedicated video on hydroquinone!
No
Beautiful, thank you! Timeless vitamin C is wonderful indeed. I’ll try to get the Korean sun screen
Thank you! An especially helpful video.
I could watch you talk about cotton balls even for hours. Ty!!!!
My 65 year old mom has been tanning her whole life. Not using sunscreen lots. It’s amazing she doesn’t have worse skin but she did ask me what to do about her pigmentation on her cheeks. So I can now give her even more tips. Thank your Dr!
As always. Obsessed with your channel. You’ve helped me so much! ♥️
My own doctor that has 3 Ivy league degrees and 40 years of medical experience told me that sun doesn't cause skin cancer. Sun is cover up for the real cause which are photosensitive toxins in the blood near the skin aka medicine, alcohol, cigarettes etc 🙉🙊🙈
My mom is 55, we live in Brazil, she literally HATES wearing sunscreen, so she doesn’t use it, and has never used, and loves to bathe in the sun. Her face is clearer than mine, and I hate the sun, and always use sunscreen, I have my father’s genetics. But my mother’s genes are insane, she looks amazing
I was like your Mom very blessed, but one day it caught up with me
@@janetcorey5102 she shadow banned me for speaking the truth
Love the thumbnail!
I'd love to hear you talk about skincare masks. I feel like they're so popular for "self-care" and for fun, but are they actually helpful? hurtful? are there any good ones? I'd love to know! I love your videos!
Getting my Notebook and pens ready!!^^
I'm loving Altruist Face Fluid spf50+ Organic Filters and Niacinimide . Differin has really helped me . I don't use high percentage Actives too and Sun Safety .
I really need this! ❤️I feel like I’ve been going around in circles. I get a blemish/dark spot, treat it, then get another blemish/dark spot and treat it. The cycle continues!! 😭
Same. But I blame it on my hormonal acne
Hi doc ! Please do a video about acne redness/red marks left after acne. Thankyou. Love your videos 🥰
I have been using a eucerin product that has thiamidol, it has helped SO MUCH with my sun spots, and doesn’t make my skin sensitive
The naturium Azaleic acid emulsion and their tranexamic acid emulsions gave me amazing results- figured id share (they arent to pricey too!) also the allies of skin pigmentation corrector was really effective (pricey and like realllllyyyy powerful so chew easy!)
Love love love your accent!
👋 thank you so much for another video on hyperpigmentation. I wanted to know what is the best way to combine all the ingredients that you have suggested pls? Is there an order or application or should we avoid mixing some of these pls?
My next issue are dark spots! Thank you!!!
You are the main resson I wanna visit New York 🙋🏻♀️
You're so funny when you're hyper!!! I'm just dying here, so many funny moments in this video! I definitely want to see that video with your own skin on special camera!
Amazing info! Thank you!
Thank you for sharingggg! Andd it would be nice if you could explain more about hydroquinone, i havent seen anyone cover that topic
I really like the Inkey List's Alpha Arbutin. Such a help with my PIH! I liked their azelaic acid too before they discontinued it. 😑
So thankful for you!
I swear you have made it so much easier to learn about skin when I don't get enough time for research and learn myself due to my studies now I just have to watch one video every Saturday. It's amazing how much I can learn from just one video
I've had both melasma on my cheeks and kp on my arms all my life. The mean remarks about my chicken skin and Summer mustache are something I've had to prepare myself for with dread every year. I don't have the money to visit a dermatologist, so I really appreciate your videos! Et j'aime que vous parlez français!
The Ordinary glycolic acid toner and AmLactin lotion are great for KP, as for melasma, the Cerave retinoid is great, and the La Roche tinted sunscreen (for pigmentation) helps with extra protection and hiding visible patches, hope this helps!
Thx doctor Shereen , plz advise on how to combine all this products into night/day routine. Thx again
I can binge watch your channel everyday
@Text me on Telegram @Giveawayshortlist I'm happy that you replied. Thank you
Your hair looks amazing!!! Would you share your colorist in ny? Thank you so much Dr Idriss! Loved the video, too.
YOU ROCK GIRL!!!
Really love your bracelets, I always admire them! Could you please, please leave a link in your description with the website you bought them from or if not, brand name. Thank you. Love your videos, super informative. You are great xxxx
Hello Dr. Idriss! I love your videos! Could you do one on eczema?
appreciate this a lot and more about tranexamic acid plse', especially its interactions with other ingredients, sooo much love
Thank you so much! Needed this!
Regarding inflammation- what would you recommend for eczema on the eyelids and below your eyebrows?
I used that sunscreen and I love it 😊
Hi!! Great video. I already incorporate most of these ingredients in my routine and I still have a lot of stubborn pigmentation. I've been reading a lot about the benefits of Silymarin and would like to integrate the ingredient into my routine, most articles cite the Skincuticials product, unfortunately that's wildly out of my budget, can you please recommend a few other products at a more accessible price point? Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much for the video! Hyperpigmention is a bane of mine. VIDEO REQUEST: Corners of mouth. how to deal with pigmentation (after angular chelitis) and how to deal with corners starting to fold/droop?
if angular cheilitis is your problem, take B complex and use a fluoride free toothpaste. Then moisturize with a thick occlusive (ie Cicaplast Baume)
nipple cream!!!! The dryness and cracking cycle makes me hyperpigment. I cleared it in 2 days with lanolin nipple cream. Cracked nipple skin = cracked mouth skin. It cleared so quickly. I was actually using hydroquinone, retinoid, vitamin c, and niacinimide in 2 different products for 2 months with no luck. Nipple cream knocked it out!
I've made great progress and the only issue left is some hereditary under eye darkness, that is slowly getting lighter. Your advice has helped immensely on this journey. Slow and consistent use is definitely KEY.
Next my scalp. Appt with dermatologist Monday afternoon.
How did you lighten your dark circles?
I'm curious what you did to lighten your under eyes, I also have hereditary dark circles.
Omg we need you to tell us what you used for your dark circles
Dr. Idriss, I’m assuming we can use all these ingredients together in a routine? How can we layer them properly for the best effect? And can all of these be used in a routine with tretinoin? Thanks 🤍
Love you Dr! That’s all 😘
Thanks for ur tips. Help me lot to understand n keep on fighting with z pblm.
YESSSSS!!!! I need this! Thank you!
EDIT: I have been prescribed 8% hydroquinone by my dermatologist. With the other products you recommended to help hyperpigmentation, could you next touch on, or write a blog for Pillowtalk Derm, that says which ingredients you can and can't use with hydroquinone during the same application?
This is such a good question!
❤❤❤
Did it work for you?
@tabbyjoyce9379 I think it might have if I'd kept using it. It didn't help that it began to smell strongly like maple syrup, which made my husband not want to be anywhere near me on the nights I used it. Sorry, I prefer cuddles with my man. Lol. I wish I had a better answer for you.
@@heatherriley3963 that’s okay! Thank you for even taking the time to respond’ :)
Oh if you’re recently obsessed with the Korean sunscreens, you should try the Japanese ones… even better. I’ve been using them for 15 years.
You are so amazing. I'm gonna try those products soon. Thank you so much! 🤍
Hi Dr Idriss! Will you do your comparison and recommendation video on LED masks soon?
I love your videos so much! Thank you for the time you take to educate us. Stylevana also has a 2% hydroquinone serum by Cos De Baha. If possible could you do a review on it. Cos de Baha has other serums with good ingredient list. If you have time to share your thoughts and opinions on this brand.
I really enjoy your Video 💜
Take love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Yesss! The beauty of Joseon Sunscreen, you finally used it. So much love for that sunscreen! I even purchased 3 tubes bec I tried one bottle and I emptied it for 2 mos only. It's a sunscreen and a moisturizer for me which helps me on the process of trimming or simplifying my skincare. It really surpass the expensive sunscreens out in the market with the same result or even better. It's truly worth the hype!
So so so good!! I used 1 up in 6 weeks too! I adore it. Even look forward to reapplying
Thank you so much for another super video. Not sure if you can get it in the US as I’m in Europe but I’ve just discovered FaceTheory’s Lumizela Serum- it’s 15% solubilised azelaic acid (OTC) - no piling at all! Also another favourite is Geek&Gorgeous Vit C, amazing price point for a product that rivals Skinceutical’s Vit C quality.
I needed this so much! Ive STUDIED ur videos so i can tackle my acne and bacne and ofc their hyperpigmentation after maths! THANK U! ❤️If u dont mind me asking, can u pls do another European based brands recommendations? 🙈
P.S: the Lebanese Albi killed me!❤️ love from another middle eastern with so much pride and joy of her 5% Lebanese genes!
Dr. Idriss, it would make my life if you pulled a Huda Beauty and did a video in Arabic! Awesome video, thank youuuuu for this 💖
Pls do some videos regarding hair loss and what's best.... Not just skin
I think they clear the Korean sunscreens as moisturizer etc to the us customs and that’s how they are able to sell it. It’s also the method krave beauty used for her discontinued sunscreen
I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant and wanted to see you to treat my stretch marks after I gave birth as I remember you saying in a youtube short that with stretch marks it's a marathon. I called your office but they said that I wouldn't be able to do any of the lasers if I'm planning to breastfeed and that you're also booked till Feb 2023 😐
Yesstyle and Olive young also carries K beauty and sunscreens!
