    i have no idea how she does this. it feels like there's so many layers but she keeps it under 5-6 it somehow has simplicity but dark but textured. no idea

    Thank U so much for this video. Bjork’s production is always complex and sophisticated.

    Excellent analysis! Please do Bjork's Undo. It's so textured and layered that song.

    there is harp obviously at the very beginning

    • @augusto7681
      @augusto7681  Před 5 lety +5

      I separate this way because the music box have a delay effect while the harp sound dry. When they appear together later each isntrument play a different melody. But is possible both are layered in the beginning.

  • @ambrosiofambrosio3265
    @ambrosiofambrosio3265 Před 4 lety

    I'm pretty sure what is labelled as music box in the outro is actually the harp.

    • @augusto7681
      @augusto7681  Před 4 lety +4

      I notice that the music box have a delay effect while the harp dont. I imagined that she cut a few notes from the music box sample and added on top of the harp arpeggio in the background. In the mixing the harp have a smooth sound and the music box a sharp metallic high end. But it can be a sample of harp or both... If i remember right in the live version is just the harp.

    I would like to know the specific instruments used. Not just "texture noise" but what instrument is making the sound?

    • @augusto7681
      @augusto7681  Před 3 měsíci

      Its not an instument, it probably some synth or a random noise she found in a object.
