I've been wanting a pro saw to add to my arsenal and I finally decided on one. I had not been able to get my hands on this saw until recently. No dealers in my area had one in stock.
You may be behind everyone else, but you are ahead of me. I have an older 066 & a newer 660 and I love them both. I have 5 other saws, but none are 4 or 5 series. I wish I was you. You have all the toys. I enjoy watching all your videos. Thank you for taking the time for our benefit. I like how you use the chain brake so frequently. It is a worthy safety feature. Stay safe out there.
My coworker has just bought one as well. He really likes it. He is a arborist and he uses it a lot. I was thinking of he’s bigger saw and looking at the knock offs.
I don't regret buying the knock off G660. Just keep in mind to check bolt tightness and maybe loctite some of the important ones. It's been a good saw and cuts really well. Just the weight of the thing is the only drawback. Good luck!
I’m sure you’ll love it but I’m wanting a 462. Seems to be the ideal power to weight. Plus I’ve heard those 500’s are thirsty. I’m almost positive I’d love it if someone handed me one though lol. Hope the saw treats you well
It's thirsty, but not as bad as the 660 clone. I think the 500i tank is smaller as well, but I've heard great things about the 462 as well. I did consider it as well, but after I picked up the 500i, I had to have it.
Even my old 026 can be a gas hog. Depends on how hard you push the engine. Nothing cuts like a Stihl... Except these Holzfforma clones. I myself bought a G111 for small stuff. It really loves to eat wood.

Those old saws are awesome too! Heavy, but really good saws. I try to be safe so I can go to bed each night the same way I woke up that morning.
Hello Tim, you will love it like the rest of us,👏🪵🇺🇸
I sharpened that chain and used it yesterday again. Wow! She's a ripper! Thanks for stopping in Larry
congrats...you got yourself an awesome saw...thumbs up !!
Thanks Gary

Good video Bud. Hope you're digging the new saw even if it was just for a few cuts. Hope it's left you with a good impression so far!
This was basically a heat cycle and quick video. I put her to work yesterday a bit more, and wow! Can't imagine what it will do when it's broken in
@@timbervisions ya, it will wake up more after 6-8 tanks once the rings seat well.
@JeffGeorgalas that's what I figured bud. She's still a ripper right now

the 026 is a turd.
I've heard those little 111s are beasts.
