I like how there is no one right answer in feng shui. Sure, there are some basic rules but everything is dependant on context and what you think is most important in the room. And now that I learned more about it through your videos we really need to put our bed in a different position. We don't have a lot of options since it's small and we have quite a big bed, plus there are two walls with a window and one wall with a door. But currently the bed is facing the door with my husband sleeping under a window there's even a straight line between that window and the door, so it's really not good lol! I really hope we will be able to put the bed against the window/doorless wall, but I'm afraid there's not gonna be a lot of space for me to get to my side of the bed then :')

All feels quite instinctual. Seems like we still act similar to when we were nomadic and tried to find a place for the night. LOL.
There are however two practical considerations that I missed:
    1) where's the wardrobe? Most people need at least one and a commode for their indoor clothes! Plus, we might store other things in the bedroom, such as books, fitness implements, etc.
    2) lighting. We like facing windows, but incoming light can be a nuisance as well.
Especially, reading and writing requires quality lighting.

My bedroom is awkward: 2,06 m x 4 m and one of the long walls is all windows. The door at one of the short ends. I am surprised to see that I intuitively did almost what you advice:
My bed is at the at the other end of the room from the door, feet towards the windows. The bed being 2 m long completely fills out the end of the room.
I have heavy curtains in front of the windows by the bed, and always keep that curtain closed. Then it feels like a wall.
And then light curtains in front of the other windows.

I accidentally re arranged my bedroom in a very good way. My bed is in commnd position and i placed a desk to slow down the diagonal energy coming from the door. My bed and dresser is now on the east wall, there is a window on the north wall, and desk is on the south wall vertically right where the door is, so it on the command place also, i can now see to my kitchen and foyer when the bedroom door is open. All this totally cured my severe anxiety and some sleep problems. My bed used to be lenghtwise against the south wall so you would see my feet right when u open the door. No wonder i felt restless.

My current room is really similar to this, tho with one big difference... I live in the roof, so there‘s two walls that are diagonal, and my door & window are in the middle of their walls... Would these things make a difference for how I should arrange my furniture or should I be able to use this?
My current layout is bed facing the window, in the middle of the diagonal wall, slightly to the wall opposite the door tho. Desk is in the dark corner on the wall beside the door... I also have a bit of storage on the wall facing the door, at the end of my bed. And a little reading nook on the other side of the door? My door opens facing the window.
I hate how cramped I feel, even with technically lots lf walking space, but the diagonal walls feel like they are looming over my head?

One wall of floor to ceiling windows, directly opposite a mirrored wardrobe with a door to ensuite. Wall with door into the bedroom has two areas and no space for a bed. The one solid wall has the door to ensuite to the right near the bedhead, so do you move the bed closer to the window but that means the feet are closer to the entry door or move away from the entry door but have your head closer to the ensuite door?????
