If you're going to have a desk like that, why not have a dresser to under it and get a tall bar height chair with wheels? It would be more comfortable to sit in, better for your back, and when not in use could be rolled next to the desk against that same wall so you can still walk thru. OR since you have bins for clothes under bed, omit dressers. Add a desk that folds against the wall that you use sitting at the end of the bed. Get a hanging bar and attach to one wall to hang clothes! Above the desk, mount a TV, again on an adjustable arm that can be pulled out for viewing on the bed, pushed against the wall to be out of the way. And you now even have space for a comfy chair or a bean bag, so you and a friend can binge Netflix!

Because mirrors aren't 2D, they reflect full dimension. When you move and try to look "into" the mirror, it works, unless you're blocking it like a 3D photo bomb.
