    I am brand new to nails after a disappointing nail tech experience, so I thank you Karen for very clearly explaining things right from step one. Even though videos are for "beginners" some people skip steps beginners often wouldn't in their explanations, and you do not. Thank you!

    I love Clear Sculptor in the jar for building out my extension first. Especially in Atlanta summers. The thick consistency let’s me build out my tip with the time I need to shape it and not have it in a puddle on the floor. Then I use the precision applicators to build the rest of the nails one at a time.

    I just bought my first kit, waiting for it. I used to do my own nails but without acrylic and I used to make them look real and they use to last me at least 2-3 weeks then of course I stopped and started doing my nails at the salon. Nowadays salons are not great, the people working are rude and not friendly and they're also doing not a great job. The last person I saw she did my nails great but I guess she didn't like me because she never took me back 🥺🤷🏽‍♀️ no reason whatsoever. So I thought about it and said why go somewhere to pay someone to do your nails and an attitude smh so I recently bought a machine and few tools and bought a bit I'm willing to spend my money in a store to buy my products.. I really hope I can do this, I will do my all to learn and get better at it every time. These videos will definitely help me, they're already helping me because Ive learned a lot watching these videos . If I get professional I will definitely open my own business and hired the best nail techs and friendly. I want my shop to be unforgettable with my staffs and my work (job). I will definitely treat every lady like a lady, how we suppose to be treated when going to these places. I will also make sure I have some champagne for my clients to sip while doing their nails and feet. Looking forward to doing all this.

    Great Video as always ❤️ I never knew what YN Flex gel was for, & thank you for talking about it. I learned something new today 😍 I love that most about your channel! Thank you!
    I do have a couple questions though... If I didn’t have flex gel and only had base gel would it also work for mixing glitter and then you could encapsulate it? I would assume you could encapsulate the glitter/ base gel mixture with Clear Precision Gel or Clear Sculptor Gel for the best structure and strength?
    Oh, and YN Clear Sculptor Gel in the pots converted me from using Acrylic about 4 yrs ago.YN Clear Sculptor Gel in the pots just don’t move! + it gives me plenty of time to perfect my gel application. It is a great product for beginners and those of us who love acrylic. I just don't have the time it takes to perfect acrylics after being out of doing nails for many years.
    YN Clear Sculptor Gel in the pot is still my favorite nail enhancement product. I was a little surprised when I used the Precision Applicator Clear Sculptor it acted different and now I know why :(
    Last but not least... I also wish you would sell the Blush Precision Gel in pots it is another one of my favorite gels. I just love the shimmer I use it for all my cover pink... Some girls never have enough glitter ;)
    YN is the best gel on the market and yes I have tried them all... #nailtechforova20yrs😍 #i❤️YNgel #olddognewtricks

    What do y’all use to clean up with or best practices to keep my work area clean when using gel? I do my own nails and I always get sticky everywhere. Especially on my jars, brush handle, and tile. I feel like no one else talks about the struggle of the clean up. I had a whole pot spill out into my organizer once and it was a nightmare. I just thew the whole thing away… organizer and the pot.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 2 lety +1

      Before addressing how to clean up the sticky, it's best to figure out why everything is getting sticky. As you are working, make sure you aren't pulling the gel from the pot and creating a string of it. If you are pulling this string out of the pot, it can start to get on the sides of your jar and run down the edges. Once the outside of the jar has gel on it, everything (including your hands and table) will get sticky. When you notice a sticky area, use a lint free wipe with some Swipe or acetone to clean it off right away so it doesn't spread elsewhere.
      As for your jars tipping over, always make sure you clean the threads of your jars when you are done using them (again with a lint free wipe and Swipe/acetone) so the caps can get a good seal and are less likely to leak. Also, it is best to store your gels in a flat drawer, not stacked on top of each other so there is less chance of getting knocked over.

      Did it turn yellow after curing the white or after applying a top coat? The product itself won't "over cure," but some top coats will have a slight yellow tint when they come out of the light. That discoloration will bleach itself out after a short time and go back to normal.

    • @lisaw2138
