I’m venturing into gel as a complete gel polish virgin, this was so useful. Simple things that could go unnoticed but will make a difference. It really shows what a different animal gel is to regular polish.
Shes a really good teacher, I have ADHD and trust me I always clock out but she kept my attention. Glad I could learn from her! I will be doing nails on myself but hopefully it can finally look good with what ive learnt here haha.

I’ve been attempting acrylics / gel polish at home for months now and literally 99% of the “don’t” things you covered in this video I have been doing and could never understand why my polish would run, my thumbs always peeled first (and way before any of the other nails) I could go on and on…!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video; you explained things so well.
That tip with the nippers getting stuff out of the polish! Way easier than me trying to chase that little lint bugger around with the bristles🤣🤣🤣

I'm that client with the really deep sidewalls lol, one nail at a time for me. I'm glad Melissa said that about capping the free edge. It always destroys the shape and I personally haven't found it necessary with YN products.

I got war flashbacks when you take out the fuzz 🤣🤣 I remember one time a client put her hand under light. When she took it out, there's a HUGE fuzz cured in 🥲🥲🥲 she touched her clothes and got it stuck right before putting it in light. I almost cried.

I do my own gel manicures & pedicures. I’ve mastered the gel on my toes but my hands it’s definitely trial and error. But this video has helped me tremendously I will be able to apply these tips next time I do my nails.
