Great work, thanks, yeah this Atalanta with Gasperini is a joy to watch this season, different dimension for the 343 formation , its amazing to see the rotation and flexibility of those 3 at the front , with Gomez drifting to the side or behind as a trequartista for me is the secret for their attacking rotation.

@@karl4893 One has to be careful with that since a 3-5-2 can be played in several different ways. One 3-5-2 system is not like the other.
However, to defend against Atalanta in a 3-5-2 shape can be advantageous because you have a spare defender at the back as Atalanta most often only position a maximum of two players on the last line. Moreover, you can defend in wide areas with LCB, LWB, CDM, LCM, LF (example for the left side) and therewith outnumber Atalanta's diamond in a 5v4 or at least create numerical equality in a 5v5.

AC Milan countered this in the match played last night, they did the same and made a diamond formation and pressing also they came with the plan of their own to attack,they used the spaces on the side that is not overloaded and also they countered with pressing and closing all passing lanes.

Thank you! We create the tactics board animations with Adobe Photoshop and edit the video with either Adobe Premiere Pro or iMovie.

We use Adobe Photoshop for the graphics and tactics board animations. We created our own template with that.
If you search for a free tactics board software though, you might wanna try out TacticalPad.
