- Getting many Dell XPS 13 9380 laptops in the office to upgrade the consultants. They are currently running Toshiba Z series laptops. Had to do a quick unboxing and overview on this XPS 13 9380 because the user was leaving the day the XPS 13 arrived. What is your standard laptop that you provide for your users?

So cool !
Thanks for the Videos is there a Video where i can integrate drives into a non Enterprise edition as Dell does not support Windows 10 enterprise on my Dell XPS machine
What would be a good gpu to purchase with this laptop so I can play games as well
Currently have acer aspire e15 which is quite big heavy grr. Cant support my needs as an engineering student
We used to have both Lenovo and Dell as standards. Currently we are exclusively Dell. The 5400 & 5480 our are standard user laptops. We also have a couple of 2-in-1's/Tablets for execs, and Precision models for power users. Oh yeah, and a couple of desktops too.
You should see me task sequence...
Wow, I could imagine your TS right now. Hopefully, you are using condition within your TS that provides the correct drivers due to the model
@@bjtechnewshd At one point I was supporting 56 different models. Yeah, no way I was letting auto apply happen.
I need that lappy I actually need it I am a Computer student
Currently it's Dell Latitude 7300 or 7400, they are mainly replacing Dell XPS 13 9350.
Nice, the Latitude 7300 and 7400 series laptops from Dell are sweet. For the 7400, are you getting the 2-in-1 or the standard laptop?
Does it run GTA V?
I standardize on Lenovo T580
ThinkPad T580 are good machine for everyday usage.
A cheap Lenovo beacuse I dont need anything (much) better but on my next laptop I'll need a beefier gpu.
I just dislike what manufacturers are doing by making them paper thin and removing ports:/
I agree about the removing the ports, but thin is good for traveling. I man up and just carry around my mobile workstation with nvidia quadro for it's GPU. It's my mobile lab with all my servers 🤓
I have a dell XPS 15 7590 i have had endless problems with it. Dell support is great but Dell drivers are some of the worse i have ever worked with.
morne botha yeah XPS 13’s (9350,9360,9380) have all had issues. Battery swelling, there is a chip that overheats under the WLAN cover plastic, driver issues especially with wd15 dock. Dell rep got better deal on latitude 7390’s and so far a lot better machine.
interesting i haven't experience any issues with XPS 13's at all. I guess my 9-5 users aren't using the laptops that much and are just using it for checking email. 😂
BTNHD do your users dock their XPS? Most of the big issues have been fixed with driver updates, and DCU is pretty good in Dell’s defense. The battery issue plagued a lot of Dell laptops, but just google Dell XPS battery swelling. Thanks for your MDT videos btw, really helped me when I stood up MDT in my environment!
@@zb5072 I Am using the i think the WD19 docing station , the problem i have is that it slows down and when you try to run VMs it like the machine dies everything goes slower and slower and sometime i have to reboot to get it back to stable. They have replaced the motherboard and hard-drive was good for a few day but now it is back to the same.
