Thank you for the video. It is so funny when I think I get a crazy idea, but it turns out someone already had that idea and even posted a video about it.

This design works perfectly in turn signals. LED's stand up to direct sunlight better for improved recognition of a driver's intentions in the street.

A bit different than my usual tests, since it is summer time as I made this, I wanted to show you how I upgraded my riding mower headlights to LED!

Big difference in light output !! I thought of LEDs in my lawn tractor too . My Y-13 and Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0 are doing great . No one flashing me with the 2 stroke 3.0 at all . DRLs are standard in Canada 🇨🇦. Best tractor headlight review ever !

Thanks so much for the comment and the confirmation that my testing and research is helping people enjoy their cars more! Happy mowing! I used to live in the Detroit area and I miss being able to drive 40 minutes and get some good poutine and Mr. Big bars!! 😁

@@CarLightReviews Your welcome ! Your testing is honest and proves you don’t need super bright LEDs for a car. Yes In Canada we have very good Poutine , we have small cheese factory’s that supply fresh curds. Yes the Mr. Big Bar is delicious !

I've been quite tempted to change the bulb in my snowblower since I have had to use it at night on occasion, but as another comment suggested, I suspect there will be more to it than just a bulb swap.

That's an interesting suggestion, but I think it might be easier (and possibly safer) to just get a high powered LED flashlight that your mount on your head. I have a strong preference for Olight and Wuben. Well, I haven't tested head-mounted flashlights from them yet, you might want to check out my other channel which will give you some insight on their quality and materials: www.youtube.com/@handheldlightreviews

I did the same thing with the exact same globe BA15 base i got one year out of the globe's before they failed.

Did you check charging voltage before and after the swap? I removed the lights from an old mower and found that the charging voltage went way up. Apparently the magneto charging system relied on the bulbs to help regulate charging voltage!

That's pretty interesting. How old of a mower was it? I mowed for almost a full season with the mower and lights in this video, had no noticeable issues before I switched to a battery mower (with LED headlights built-in).
