I like Antonee Robinson. Massively underrated and would be an excellent addition. I'd also love Palhinha to come with him from Fulham
Fulham will suffer if both players leave in the summer.

love the doughty and ian maatsen shouts, these are the 2 most realistic left back cover we could add, as you mentioned not likely antonee joins tottenham at the age of 26 to be a backup to udogie at the peak of his career. if we sign doughty though we need a phyisical striker (gyokeres, maybe an ivan toney) to put away those chances if not id rather go for a maatsen. im also not opposed to vitaliy mykolenko (but not sure about him offensively) / ait-nouri not so sure about him defensively though. ait-nouri has a higher ceiling but vitaliy has a higher floor
Cambiaso and Calafiori are versatile would make us a world class team. However, i would take a Robinson or Mykolenko since they're more realistic
Cambiaso and KWP and fullback department full, sell Davies and Royal and get 2 bipedal ballers
Antonee Robinson was one of the very best left backs this season.
This is such a tough spot to fill as they have to be aware that they'lll likely be a backup option to Udogie and needs the required skill set to operate as essentially a left sided midfielder. Out of the names mentioned, I think Zalewski is the best shout but personally, I think Hiroki Ito is the best option as he can cover as both LCB & LB and has the passing ability to comfortable move into midfield.
Haven't even watched this yet, but Calafiori is the key player we need to cover both areas...COYS
Can't see us getting him, though.
Tariq Lamptey. 25 years old. 12 mill on transfermarkt. Not playing for Brighton really right now, but he would be perfect as an inverted Ange winger. His strength is more as an attacker than defender, would be a different profile to Udogie and could help break down those low block teams with his pace and dribbling

Too injury prone n don't defend as well as Udogie so is a no no...we can get someone better

Well done LB list, boys. If I were going to do any business with Bournemouth I would absolutely prioritize Solenke! With that said though, you've identified some real prospects here for the position.
Why not just keep Reguilon? Its only as a backup, dont think we need to be spending money on backup LB or LCB. Dragusin can step into LCB or davies whose performed well there abd i think reguilon is good enough to be a backup
Reguilon is only gd gg forward but he can't defend well...n he tend to switch off defending n the don't work well under Ange game plan...so is better for him to go to other EPL or Liga teams.

Davies was destroyed by descent teams. Hard no for him at LB ever again. Better to push out VDV. Even Skipp was better there than Davies

For backing up Udogie id take Raum or Locko.
I'd take Doughty 100%. Would fit as an alternative to Udogie vs low block teams and decent alternative at a young age. LB backup is not a massive spot for us anyway and he has a low, low price. Great energy and crossing ability. Good presser and kinda fast too.

Most talk here and elsewhere is for 'backups'. If so, don't spend huge amounts on them as all clubs are more limited now and so keep the funds to get Ederson or Onana, and then top 20+ goals striker and super left winger.
Spurs should follow MC's tactic to use more ball playing CB in fullback position. Looking for a left-footed CB like Murillo to fill the LCB/LB position.
Locko seems like the best choice for me out of these. We should also look at David Raum from Leipzig.

Robinson is unrealistic he’s probably better than udogie right now. Ian mattsen makes no sense, he just left Chelsea for guaranteed game time. Also unrealistic

First and foremost ian maatsen is left footed and doesn't invert...he inverts when he plays rw which he plays rarely
You dont have to invert on the weak footed side, thats more for wingers in the 2010’s era
Zinchenko inverts on the left and hes left footed

I wasn't saying he won't be able too I'm more clarifying that he isn't as they described. No one actually inverts quite like the system Tottenham use so we won't find a perfect fit only potential fits
Why are we even talking about back up options? We should be looking to improve the 1st 11.
We're currently trying to get rid of a bunch of "back up" options. If we bring in more "back up" options but can't get rid of the previous lot, we end up reducing the quality of the squad and/or giving us more offloading work to do in future windows.
We’re in Europe again so having quality depth is also important.

I am going to agree with Sean Butler on this subject. I think I'd rather see Spurs bring in another quality CB, rather than looking at a backup LB. Micky VDV has shown he can swing over to LB and be quality.
