Sometimes they lip-synced, sometimes they didn't. They might be singing for real here, but you can find videos from the same point in their career where they're lip-syncing on other TV shows. Even Michael Jackson in his solo career wasn't above lip-syncing. You could see him lip-syncing at the Super Bowl, and he lip-synced at the Jacksons anniversary show when he 'sang' "Beat It".

The Jackson 5/The Jacksons really gave some slick performances. They had it all, great music, looks, stylish moves and clothes. Very cool. Many shows I'm watching for the first time, but they're very rewatchable, and you get to enjoy the details even more over time.

At the end when Michael smiles and waves, almost 50 years after this was performed live, I break down crying. We miss you Magic Man R.I.P. MJ.🌹🐺

Their sound was so clean and on-point, without the help of auto-tune, green screens, lip-syncing or other tricks today’s “singers” use. This is real, raw talent right here. Great performance!
