Toothsome Chocolate Emporium: Awesome Milkshakes But How's The Food?

- While in Universal Orlando Resort for Halloween Horror Nights, Peter & Kitra tried out Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast in Universal Citywalk for the first time. The milkshakes look amazing and instagramable, but how is the food?
We tried out the Totchos as an appetizer, which includes Fried tator tots, spicy green chili, crispy pork belly, andouille sausage cheddar cheese sauce.
Peter got the May Contain Bacon hamburger for his entre, which contains a Half pound housemade patty, bibb lettuce, smokey thick cut bacon, grilled pork belly, pineapple chutney, chipotle Jack cheese, on a pretzel bun.
Kitra got the Banana and Nutella French Toast, which contains Challah, banana mascarpone filling, Nutella®, brûléed banana, and Lyonnaise potatoes.
And for dessert, they got one of Jacques' Specialty Milkshakes, the Confetti cake milkshake, which has Vanilla ice cream, confetti cake, vanilla buttercream frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and fresh whipped cream.
We also take a tour of the gift shop and chocolate emporium and have a delightful interaction with Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome and her robot in the dining room.

Zomg! that food! I'd known about this restaurant for some time via other vloggers, but this is the first time anyone's actually eaten and filmed there..great job! The walk around 'restaurant-mosphere' characters help sell the concept, add interest to your meal, and enhance your experience, and lets face it, everything about Universal (and Disney) is about experience :) It looks like you both got more than you cared to eat, and everything was beyond tasty- kudos Toothsome Emporium!

Absolute favorite place to eat at Universal. Next time I go I need to just pick from the desert menu. I get too full from the regular food to finish a desert, and honestly why else even go there?!

Yeh that’s def smart marketing in that store! You’re paying for the experience and the kewl items, but yeh the candy you could probably find similar for so much cheaper. But all those gifts and stuff look great!

I HAVE FLAT OUT LOVED THIS PLACE BOTH TIMES IVE BEEN THERE! Really tasty and REALLY affordable ($70 for lunch for four people!!) ....for a Theme Park!!!....And they’re now building one at Universal Hollywood! Can’t wait!

2 appetizers (nachos/chicken wings), 1 milkshake, 2 pops cost us with top $60 😲 we left very disappointed as appetizers were not good at all. How can you mess up chicken wings?

Hi guys and thanks for another informative video. My wife says that I am not allowed to watch your channel any more as you "cost" her $13,000 (AUD) for a trip to Orlando to see Disney World, Universal and the Kennedy space centre in January. We will definitely be trying out the chocolate emporium.

@@OrdinaryAdventures I'll take a look a the menu and see which one it i personally recommend. I believe they offer Guiness on draft but I could be wrong. If you like good cocktails and drinks, odds are you'll like them
....how come I've never seen a video inside this place so far from other vloggers?? (Maybe I missed them?) It looks amazing and like a theme park on its own! And those milkshakes are nuts. Reminds me of the ones I saw at Black Tap in Downtown Disney. I wish Toothsome was open when we went to FL!
It opened I think about two years back. Yeah the milkshakes are comparable to black tap although I’d say black taps ones are bigger!
@@OrdinaryAdventures Ah. Then it is entirely possible there were videos and we missed it. We went to FL in 2015 and only started watching theme park vlogs last summer after one of our Disneyland trips when the after Disney blues kicked in. 😂 So I'm glad you all went and filmed!

Do you guys have a big lots store near you? Saw some cool reusable straws today and I thought of you. Prices start at 2 bucks for ones with out a scrub brush. I think highest was 6 bucks.

It’s a steampunk theme and I didn’t hear you guys mention it at all.
I think I mentioned it but that footage may have gotten cut out. But yeah it’s very steampunk
Milkshakes were good, but skip the food. Out of our table of four, none of us were impressed. (Overpriced for what you got and the service was really bad.) We understood the huge crowds meant best of luck in flagging down a waitress if you needed something, but you are really better off eating elsewhere and getting dessert here.
Agree that the milkshakes are much better than the food
I prefer the food over the milk shakes. The Too Chocolate Stout is the main reason I go. The shakes aren’t refreshing to me. They are so thick they taste like chilled custard or pudding rather that ice cream. I still have to give the dairy free shake a try.
We were quite disappointed by the food. It sounded interesting but looked unappetizing and tasted just okay.
Ordinary Adventures the atmosphere is is great and we like sitting at the bar upstairs. For us it’s a great respite and we like stopping in for the stout and apps like onion rings with chocolate ranch. As far as meals, Husband likes the meatloaf and I enjoy the vegetable panini. The menu definitely has hits and misses as you’ve discovered. Over all we really like it. Antijito’s is good too. Interested in what you’ll think of that place if you visit when yours opens.
