Love the river fishing. Fair play no matter how big or small it's all about the take. Great footage and commentry. Tight Lines.
Thanks bud appreciate it👌 them river trout are just gorgeous, so much fun on the light tackle. Just home from an evening session there, the hayfever is brutal this time of year 😂
Well if these Lures Weren't Sold out all over Ireland before this video they will be now lad! Savage Fishing again Fair play. I like a day on the lures every now and again but I'm a fly angler at heart. Tight lines lad
Thanks Terry! They are savage little lures I’d say nearly any species would go for them it’s cool. I’m big into the fly fishing myself but love every technique really, apart from worm, that seems to deep hook a lot of trout which makes catch and release pretty impossible. 😅 grew up using the worm tho deadly little method for kids to learn the basics
Class video, must give that lure a try 👍
It’s definitely worth a try 👌
Watching from Vancouver Island BC . Cheers.
Very cool, hello from Tipperary 🙌🎣
Great video 👍.
Good fishing day 😉👌🔥
Thank you 🙌🔥🎣
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 👌
Perch love them to
Will be after the perch soon👌
Great fishing Senan....fair play pal.
Thanks bud, love the rivers, hate the hayfever tho 😂
Some stuff lad well done
Thanks bud always nice to get out 🎣
I ordered this lure based on your first video. Had to get it from overseas. This lure isn't available in Australia. I shared this video with a buddy and ordered him one too.
They can be hard to find especially in the right size, but they would catch nearly any species the vibrations off the tail is very cool 🙌
Great session dude! The only thing is that these are sold out and you are not helping it 😅😅 best lure I've fished with for brownies by far!
Thanks bud, ya very hard to get them in the right sizes and colours 😂👌
Love your videos. What's the difference between mono and fluro?
Thank you👌 🎣 Fleuro is basically invisible underwater where as mono isn’t, fleuro is more abrasion resistant and less stretch, making it better for leaders 🎣
Did ya ever try trolling with these lures?
Not yet 😉🎣
Do you call the Lough run trout "Croneen" in your neck of the woods? Hello from Westmeath BTW bud. You are getting some fine fish bud fair played to ya 👏
Probably would be right in saying that bud, they usually come up from June onwards after a touch of rain. I lost a savage trout on my river Sunday evening, a lake trout of about 3 - 4 lbs, gave me some suprise when I hooked it, very rare they come up. This fella was hooked for 20 seconds then gave a jump and shook my lure 🤮 will have to get back on the lake and do some trolling see if there’s any Ferox about 😁👌🎣 thanks for watching bud 🙌
@@senanstanleyfishing that would have been a fine river trout bud. What County are you from pal? I must take a trip to Lough Derg ad I have never fish it. I do most of my pike fishing in Lough Derravaragh and the river Inny. Tight lines bud
Anyone know where I can buy some of these lures
Few shops have them , it’s fiiish powertail
You using straight through mono? What breaking strain?
This is 5lb maxima ultragreen to a swivel to 2feet of 6lb fleurocarbon to the lure. I’ve recently switched to 0.07 spiderwire braid as a mainline ✌️
@@senanstanleyfishing maxima ultra green, what a classic. I remember seeing that advertised in magazines when I was about 10 in the late 90s. Packaging hasnt even changed!
It’s brilliant. I’m tempted to switch back to the maxima after one session on the braid. The tiny spinners spin much better with the mono, and I find the trout don’t get spooked as easy
