Kate Martin is overall a good player. Currently Aces is stacked with too many vet players to let her have more minutes right now but her time will come. Kate can drive to her left, she has been consistent with both mid and long range shots, and she also understands what transition defense is. I don't know what CC learned during her NCAA days, but she's lacking in so many areas where Kate Martin doesn't.
THIS is what being a rookie is like for most everyone but the superstars. Play a role, make good plays, be a good teammate. If you can inject energy and fuel a good three or five minute stretch, you've had a fantastic outing. She's gonna be a decade long player
