The hallow on David letterman Maynard’s voice is flawless.
There's a video somewhere of Maynard wig shopping for the Eat The Elephant tour. Remember reading something about him using a wig for A Perfect Circle to help him be seen different than Maynard in Tool. Almost as if it's part of him showing his change in personality that occurs with each band.

This is the "Don't wake the neighbours" live version still hanging around. The Live At Red Rocks version of The Outsider is just immense.
I remember asking for this specific performance anytime A Perfect Circle came up in the videos a couple years ago now, glad you finally got around to it. I remember enjoying the record version of this song, but it was this performance that made me realize how damn good this song is.
fun fact: on his tshirt, it's written "i love brad wilk" who is Rage against the machine's drummer" (and Audioslave)
Maynard is just one of those vocalists that puts all his emotion into his music. You FEEL it. This song is actually about his friend the GOAT Layne Staley….witnessing him throw away his talent and decline by his own accord. You can hear the helpless, disappointing, anger in Maynard’s voice….he means what he sings!

They did this son g on Jay Leno and I had to watch mainly because my friend played drums for them. It sounded awesome too. I hope this is that version because it's the best I've heard.

Maynard wears wigs when he performs with APC to differentiate it from TOOL. He is actually very shy and performs to be in the back in the shadows when he performs, especially with TOOL. So much so that Danny Carey, TOOL's drummer is considered the real frontman.
Maynard is balled, he uses different wigs for shows.

They are a hugely talented post-metal trio from Belgium and they create amazing songs with so much power and meaningful messages, so important to absorb in these current times we live in...
Any song of them is awesome, but "A Storm Approaching" or "Towards the Edge" from their 2022 album VIOLATE CONSENSUS REALITY
AND/OR
From the 2018 album UNFOLD THE GOD MAN, i reccomend "The Story of Your Enslavement " or "The Fall of Consciousness"

I saw A Perfect Circle live November 30th 2017 in Vancouver BC with The Bata Machine opening up for them which is one of Billy's side projects they are one of the best bands I have ever seen live.
Also, I think this was live on like a late night show set up. Which is the worst place for rock bands especially..and they still sound this good.
