This is a major loss. I have not found any better alternative for my Windows machines. Axios stated that the updates for current Kaspersky software will end September 29th 2024. After that, I am probably going to NOD.
Just remembered that every time I delete a security program anyway There are a number of remnants left in folders that I also remove although some can't be removed for some reason, at least thee is very little left.
I my self was an ESET fan and i will always be...i did use Kaspersky only a second option but everyone what he likes after all...right now i use none and neither Defender as thats just awful but i wont recommend for a normal user to run no Av.
My first choice hands down would be Bitdefender(paid) Just saying - Forgot, I ditched Kaspersky about 6 years ago and zero regrets although it was and likely still the best out there
No reason to ban it. Nothing but paranoia.

How about Malwarebytes Antimalware?

I ditched Kaspersky when the Ukraine conflict started. Using Bitdefender now.
Really they ban that but they dont ban Windows lol i am a happy linux user and will never go back to the Malware know as Windows.

I went deep into swamp just to completely disable defender. Windows doesnt get it i dont want antivirus.

Kaspersky is Russian software.
dont use that here use norton 360 delux here for up to 5 devices
